Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Ella

The view from this place is absolutely spectacular, even at night when you can see the illuminated Buddhist temple opposite the balcony. The house is well-equipped with everything you need. The personnel is extremely helpful and will help you with everything from breakfast to dinner and laundry service as well as sightseeing advice.

Beautiful view and very nice staff. Breakfast was really good and fresh, definitely recommend the curry and milk rice. The treehouse is a bit outside of the city center, requires 1 or 2 tuk tuk to get up to the retreat (the second of which is steep and bumpy, so only the most stilled tuk tuk drivers can master it). However, the staff organised tuk tuk for us each time we came and went free of charge and it was always on time when given 10 minutes notice. Recommend this place for a unique and unforgettable stay in Ella.

Bola was an amazing host at the Villa. He sent a driver to pick us up when we arrived and made us dinner at the villa! He gave us some helpful tips, was very attentive, and even drove us to our next destination. I will definitely stay here if I return to Ella! 10/10 recommendation:)

This is an outstanding villa in a hillside location with wonderful views of the surrounding hills including Little Adam's Peak, a waterfall, endless forest and low areas far away towards the coast. Rumesh was very welcoming and helpful with walking suggestions and tuk tuk bookings. Ella is a 30 min ride away and the track down to the villa from the road is bumpy with steep sections. The food was home made, delicious and varied and was cooked fresh each day by a lady in the local village. The villa has two very well appointed bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms and a large central area where we ate meals and relaxed. There is a small library and some yoga mats. Rumesh had planted cacao, mango, curry leaf bush, coriander and lime trees close to the property and we were able to walk through these. The wildlife includes a profusion of Sri Lankan birds, squirrels, boar and fire flies. This is one of those special places in the world that will stay with you for ever. Thank you.

This is a uniquely beautiful accommodation. It is set back from the road, immersed in nature. You can hear the frogs at night and birdsongs all day. It’s lovely and relaxing. The staff were so helpful throughout and met us with umbrellas when we checked in. The bathroom is so unique with a shower surrounded by stones, plenty of hot water, and everything works well. We were able to have dinner one night and this was truly an amazing meal of local cuisine, artfully prepared! Breakfast was equally lovely. The only issue with the accommodation was mosquitoes in the smaller bedroom because of openings to the outdoors. But using the ceiling fan and the bed net provided, solved that issue. I would highly recommend this lovely accommodation and make sure to eat here as well!

Lalantha was very responsive throughout the experience and gave information for our itinerary to ensure we made the most of our time in Ella. He was quick to communicate and was accommodating. Lalantha offered to make us dinner and breakfast for a reasonable price and it was very delicious authentic srilankan food. I would recommend to do the same. The place was very clean and in a quiet, peaceful and pretty part of Ella. There are other hotels very close to the property where we went to get some drinks and nibbles. It was perfect for 10 of us with nice outside dining areas and decent sized rooms for sharing. I would recommend having a driver to take you into Ella town and the other sightseeing spots. We were there for one night only and slept comfortably. It does get quite cold in the nightime because of the area so the only negative is I wish some thicker duvets were provided in some of the rooms. Apart from that it was a very smooth experience and very enjoyable.
