We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described—if not better. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, from the comfy linens to the little touches that made our stay extra special. The location was perfect for a nature loving family exploring the area, and we truly didn’t want to leave. We’d happily return and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Dwayne and Susan are a friendly couple. They were physically present at the property to receive us and explained all the facilities of the property in detail. The cottage is located on a higher ground among the woods and it is maintained in pristine condition. We really enjoyed the interiors of the cottage as they are made with huge wood logs and everything looked new. Property is located very close to many natural attractions like Lakes, Water locks, Provincial and National parks and trails. Jones falls, Smith falls, Long Sault parkway and 1000 islands etc. are few a must watch attractions that are close to this property. We highly recommend this wonderful place for the people who love nature and want to have a nice cottage experience and enjoy visiting natural attractions around this place. Cheers

Mike and his wonderful home must be seen to be believe. Do not have reservations because Mike is living on the property. He makes your stay unforgettable. Kids and adults alike were made to feel special and treated like family. We were taken on guided tours on the land and lake and neighboring chicken lol. Mike took the kids and adults on tubing adventure, to the sandbar and jetskiing. Everyone loved using the golfcart, ziplines and slingshot! The fishing was amazing for the kids. We have to go back again so we can fit the adventures we didn't have time for. We have made a forever friend in Mike and will return as often as he will let us. We have found our annual spot here for memories, love and laughter. Can't say enough about this property and Mike makes it unforgettable. 100% recommended

The place was really clean on the inside. There was some clutter by the boat launch and exterior was riddled with spider webs. The sofa in the common area is old and sinks in when trying to sit. The sheets were clean, bathrooms were good and there was provision of basic cooking stuff like oil which we liked. Place is bit difficult to reach as you have to go down 5 KM on a narrow winding gravel road. Overall the stay was good.

We loved our stay! The cottage is well equipped and organized with everything you need. The three beds in the loft were very comfortable and it was helpful to have a bathroom upstairs. The lake was beautiful and there was a wonderful view of the water from every room.

We had a great weekend stay at the cottage! Cam and Karley were super responsive, and accommodating of us for early check in and late check out. The cottage was well stocked with kitchen basics, and super clean and cute! As described, the main house is also closeby on the property, but we were left with full peaceful privacy the entire time. There are some beautiful walking trails in the area, including the South Frontenac just a ten minute walk down the main road. We appreciated the binder of local recommendations, as well as how pet-friendly it is, with a dog bed available and even a towel and poop bags by the door. Because it’s a beautifully wooded area, on the rainy days we did need to be vigilant to pick ticks off the dog, but we appreciated that the cottage was equipped with a tick removal kit in case we needed it, and we didn’t encounter any when it was nice out. If we hadn’t had a dog with us, we wouldn’t have noticed a thing because we were never finding them on ourselves!

We loved our stay with our family and four legged friends! Great location close to our family and easy travel to Elgin for food and Westport for shops and Brewery!

The loft is lovely and very well appointed. It is clear that a lot of thought went into making sure it would be a great experience and everything necessary was in place. The privacy fences are very thoughtful and it feels private, I was actually expecting the unit to be attached to the house so that was a bonus. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the chickens! What funny little creatures 🤣 perfect spot for a weekend getaway; Athens is very close by with necessary amenities. Unfortunately we missed getting to the bakery so will have to visit again!
