Spacious cottage on wheels between the Frisian lakes

After two years of building ourselves, we are back from a tour of Portugal and Spain with Oerol behind the tractor (March 2024). Oerol is next to our farmhouse. Oerol is well insulated and now extended, which gives a spacious feeling (living room 3.3x4m). There is hot and cold water for kitchen and shower. We live in a meadow bird area between the Frisian lakes. There is a trailer ramp, surf school and a beach within 1.5 km. There is plenty of parking space available. There are beautiful cycling routes nearby.

On the edge of the beautiful village of Heeg and in the heart of the water sports area of Friesland is this harbor house. Complete and furnished for 4 people. You can relax in the cottage with lots of light and the sun-drenched garden with the late evening sun. There are 2 terraces, one on the water with a lovely lounge sofa. In our Homestay, you can recharge and unwind in a warm and relaxed atmosphere in the spacious luxury studios (see also adv. De gierzwaluw). The Grutto is equipped with a box spring, a seat, a workplace, a kitchenette and a private bathroom. In the sunny garden, there are terraces and a covered bicycle shed. Located in a picturesque rural village, surrounded by beautiful forests and lakes, you can enjoy the versatile nature and also the lively city center with shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Cycling through the Gaasterland forests, sailing, sloops, supping, swimming in the water bottles or walking through the farmlands. 15 min to Sneek, Lemmer or Stavoren, the Jopie Huisman museum in Workum, skating museum in Hindeloopen or the shipping museum in Sneek. The ideal family place for (young) families!

Great and spacious chalet (40m2) furnished for families of up to 3 kids. We are a family of 4 (girl of 6 and 4 years old) who likes to share their lovely quiet place with other young families and/or couples. The grounds where the chalet is located, the Koggeplaet is a nice and small-scale park whose marina is located directly on the largest lakes of Friesland: the Fluessen and the Heegermeer. Around the park itself, it is also possible to rent a boat or sup, for example

Cozy loft with rural views!

The apartment is located in a very idyllic, quiet place in the beautiful Frisian landscape near the IJsselmeer. Originally, the loft was a cooking studio, where delicious dishes were cooked. The loft is spacious and has been completely converted since June 2020. It offers a lot of privacy, tranquility, a private terrace (with rural views) and free parking. In the beautiful surroundings, close to Hindeloopen and Stavoren, you can enjoy hiking, biking and boating.
