Villa Arietta is a dream house. Located in the beautiful hills just outside Kissamos, 10 mins by car from the sea. The house is marvelous and has all the comforts you need to enjoy a perfect holiday. We were two couples with one toddler and a baby and both indoor and outdoor spaces were perfect for our needs. Also, thoughtful little touches like a welcome hamper with local products, and numerous amazing toys for the kids to use in the garden. Arietta and her husband have been extremely helpful and accommodating throughout, and communication has always been quick and proactive. We loved our stay and we really hope to come back again. Definitely recommended, one of the best places we’ve been to!

We had a lovely stay in Crete! Our villa was so peaceful. You hardly hear any outside life. You most certainly need a car especially if you plan on moving around to see different things. The water pressure in the bathroom was amazing! The house had amazing views. Some of the best sunsets we saw. The housekeeper was always on hand for whatever you needed and responded really quickly. Overall an amazing stay.

We had an incredible stay with our family. The photos do not do it justice. It’s so beautiful and so peaceful. There were many lovely welcome food and drinks that we really appreciated. We had many activities and family in the area so we were out and about but were always looking forward to coming back to enjoy the house, the pool, and the gorgeous view. We also loved the hot tub when we got a little chilled from swimming since it was a bit early in season. We made sure to have a day to just do that. We used the indoor/outdoor theatre one night and that was really fun. All the rooms and the kitchen were perfectly appointed. Everything was so well thought out. We can’t wait to come again and stay longer and have time to use the outdoor kitchen, the gorgeous dining room and enjoy the beautiful pool and view again. Discovering Crete for the first time and being able to relax in this villa is something truly exceptional. The panoramic view is breathtaking! I highly recommend this accommodation to enjoy the peace, the pool, the view, and all the nearby places! Second stay at Kamartso Villa 3, having stayed last year. We greatly enjoyed the beautiful location, stunning views, private, nice paths for walking, a charming chapel next door. Grigoris is extremely cordial and responsive, always caring for us, asking of we need anything, towels, etc. He responded promptly and thoroughly. The magnificent space is cool and elegant, beautiful stone interior, high ceilings, perfect lighting and lovely bathrooms with rain showers, marble and ample towels. The main bedroom is extremely large with a gorgeous arched window overlooking the Bay of Kissamos and mountains behind it. I often took walks through the olive groves and enjoyed them very much, often seeing goats and neighbors who were friendly and helpful. We slept extremely well, nice bedding and comfortable pillows. We had a large work area downstairs on the enormous table and WiFi initially slow; we realized opening the window and door completely resolves this issue. Planning to return in 2025.

We had a really great time here! In real life, the place looks even better than in the pictures. The view was impressive every time, you couldn't get enough of it. Everything was super clean, nicely decorated and exactly as you wish when you arrive. The landlady was totally warm and attentive. You immediately felt welcome, and if you had any questions, she was always quickly available and helpful. Overall, it was an incredibly beautiful and all-round successful stay for us. If you could give more than 5 stars, we would definitely do it. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the place!

We had a fabulous stay here. The villa is lovely, inside and out, with a well equipped kitchen, including food staples and a variety of different seating areas outside. The pool is great and the beach is virtually on the doorstep, with free sunbeds (if you buy at least a drink from the local taverna). In terms of local amenities, there is a small shop and a couple of tavernas within a few minutes walk, plus a small hotel complex, where you can also eat and visit their bar. There are 2 larger supermarkets within a couple of kilometres, for which you would either need a car or taxi, however the hosts were kind enough to ferry us there and back, when we first arrived, which was so helpful. Chania Old Town is beautiful and we travelled there on a couple of occasions by taxi (28E) in the evening, but you can also take a bus which stops near to the villa. Finally, the hosts, Eleni and Thrasyvoulos were lovely, regularly checking in without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. We immediately fell in love with this villa! The quality of absolutely everything in and around the building is extraordinary. The pictures cannot truly capture how beautiful and well-designed this place is. From the tasteful interior decor to the immaculate outdoor areas, every detail has been carefully thought out to provide both comfort and luxury. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway. We can’t wait to return!

This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! Amazing home.

The place was better than I expected. In reality, everything looked bigger than in the photos. We were therefore positively surprised. The sea and mountain views were beautiful. The hosts made a great effort and communicated wonderfully. We could imagine coming back.

House with 2 large bedrooms and modern bathroom. Large living room, tv, kitchen equipped with all the necessities. A little more important Water, Gateaux, Nespresso coffee and capsules for your arrival! The View is impressionsnte of Falasarna Beach with the infinity pool, bbq, sun loungers ... 500m from Chemin de Terre to arrive at the complex of 4 houses, nothing very complicated by car. Clean accommodation and great welcome. If you want more calm … take one of the houses on the side! But for us in October it was quite quiet ... And a great Taverna Spilios Restaurant on the street just down to eat … one of the best in Crete! Perfect location to visit Balos and other spots.

Absolutely beautiful Villa, super modern and brand new. 5-10 minutes walk to bars, restaurants and beach. Giorgos the host was extremely helpful, and quick to respond. Villa was cleaned twice whilst we were there which we didn’t expect. Will definitely return! Thank you!

The villa was truly as described. When we arrived we were greeted by the hosts, who were incredibly warm and welcoming. The kitchen was well appointed and the area is perfect for families or really anyone looking to walk everywhere, including to a great beach and countless restaurants. We loved our stay in Crete and it was comfortably the best hospitality we've ever received from a host. Manolis was super responsive to messages (usually within 15 minutes) and George looked after us amazingly well (without being intrusive) and was always so happy. The villa was exactly as described and there were a couple of days where we cancelled our plans to explore in favour of sitting by the pool and looking out over the mountains, watching the vultures and other birds. So nice. The butcher recommended by Manolis made for some delicious barbecues and was very reasonably priced. Really beautiful and relaxing location with the best hosts. Would definitely come back in future.

We had a great week at Villa Olive Oil, incredible views, spotless villa and a charming area off the beaten track. Stelios couldn't have been more helpful, whether it was helping get the bbq started or going out of his way to buy me a local remedy for the cold I unfortunately picked up, nothing was too much for the host with the most! We had a lovely stay at Stelios Villa. Incredible beautiful surroundings, it’s a short walk into Kalyves, we didn’t realise until day 3 but there’s a small parade of beach bars and restaurants if you walk a bit further than we had been for first 2 days. The stay was lovely, the house was beautiful. We really enjoyed the village and it’s relatively slow pace. Stelios was very responsive to messages and very helpful too.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Fairytale Villas! Located about 20 minutes outside of old town Chania, the villa has beautiful views of the mountains and a small growing fruit orchard. It's really beautiful and peaceful. The home is well-designed for a family of 4 and has all the needed amenities. The pool is amazing. My kids swam every morning and night. Note that you would absolutely need a car to stay here because it is not walkable to anything, but an easy drive to a grocery store for cooking. We would love to come back someday!

Eirini is a fantastic host. Our home-made meal upon arrival was above and beyond, any enquiries he responded instantly. The pool is divine and the house beautiful. It is a little off the beaten track and I can’t imagine staying there without a car! But for what we were looking for, it was perfect.
