Villa vacation rentals in El Rompido

We absolutely loved our stay here and didn't want to leave. The host made our stay really comfortable and the flexibility helped when both our arrival and return flights were delayed. The house has 360 degree stunning views. This is a great place if you want to feel an one with nature without any buzz from city life. Tavira is not too far by car for some great evening meals. Our girls thoroughly enjoyed the pool facilities.

One more year, it was a pleasure our stay at Raul's house. As always very clean and cared for, we will repeat again.

We had a great time spent in Mazagon i Maria's house as it perfectly match our needs. Its located in a quiet neighbourhood with a very quick access to a beautiful beach on the Antalntic coast (it very good for kids as this is not fully open Atlantic but kind of "behind a small penisula" or with river outlet (frankly I'm not sure how to name this geographically) which makes the water much calmer (much smaller waves) and warmer). Yet it is close to all the needed amenities (10-15min walk from the centre of Mazagon where you can find places to eat and shop). House is big, like really big, with loads fo space for larger families (we are 2+3 and it was perfect for us), a huge garden and a terrace where you can have breakfast looking at the sea. The house is very clean and well-equipped. There are few "confusing" bits, especially the fact that there are two kitchens next to each other with a setup that forces you to wander around between the two but those nuisances wont impact your stay.

Finca Fotea is so great, that the leaving moment is very, very difficult. If you are looking for a place with sunny and stable weather, big space for living, great 24h pool (enough big and deep), fast internet connection, where you can rest being not in crowded touristic city and from the other hand you are very close to Algarve in Portugal and Spanish coast – Finca Fotea will be a best place for you. First of all we would like to thank our host Tania and her Team. They made a really home atmosphere and helped us very quickly, when it was necessary. We had huge space for living in the very well equipped and clean house. The internet connection was very good. The pool is really big (ca. 4m x 12m) and enough deep (ca. 1,5-2m). There is no time limits for pool usage, so we swam even at the midnight with pool lighting. From the house entry we saw every day the ocean. From the other hand, that was a great place to reach many places in Algarve/Portugal and Spain. We rested and calmed down.

Well located house, close to the beach (beautiful 5/7 minute walk) and all amenities necessary for a week of beach with the family (market, hypermarket, mini market, restaurants, takeaway..). Cleaning without pimples. A little less spacious than what it looks in the pictures but perfectly fits. It's been a lovely week

As a group of 12 friends we had a great stay at the villa. It is a beautiful house with a big, comfortable outside area to hang out. Only the water in the pool was a bit cold and the wifi connection not always best, but overall we really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend the villa to others.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Tamsin's house, perfect position 5 mins walk from everything in a peaceful location. The house is even bigger than it looks on the photos, all the rooms are very spacious, comfy beds, good showers and the pool and garden are beautiful. We loved our stay and would definitely return. Tamsin was very flexible with check in times and departure which was a great help. Thanks

I stayed with my wife and 8 month old baby for a month in Sep/Oct and we had an amazing time. The villa is large, well laid out and very well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen and lots of house and beach/pool towels. They also had a cot, high chair and baby bath for our son. Although the inside of the property is nice, it’s the surrounding pool, bbq and gazebo areas which really made it for us. The area is peaceful and within easy walking distance of the beautiful beach, where there are also several nice restaurants / bars for food and drinks (although some of it shuts down out of the summer months). We’d highly recommend the villa for families or anyone seeking a relaxing holiday in the sun. Thanks Tiago!

From the house, to the location and to the Nuno that welcomed us so well, everything was impeccable. An experience to repeat, I strongly advise!

Beautifully appointed villa just off the sea front in Santa Luzia - lovely terrace and pool and three great bedrooms and bathrooms - easy to walk to sea front and restaurants and a lovely village to wander around - supermarket also very close to stock up (excellent kitchen facilites). two beaches very close one via boat (max 10 mins) and the other Barril via train. All in all an excellent stay which we all loved. I have given 5 stars as I feel the villa does deserve this and Smartvillas were very helpful

The place has everythinng neeeded for spending a relaxed holiday. Nice pool, especially of traveling with children. Host very responsive and comprehensive.

Opinion of those who know the village well: Most positive points: the view over the ria is a regal. Very quiet place. House with good areas, simple and tasteful decoration. Impeccable cleaning. Negative points: no wifi - obliges to spend mobile data, prevents access to streaming or international channels.The ground floor terrace needs umbrella, in the morning you can not be there with the heat/ There is a lack of garden chairs or loungers. Two lounge chairs with no mattress/ Too small Polibans make the shower a stunt/Sleeping cushions very bad, completely out of the rest/ Lack of reading lighting in the bedrooms/Air conditioning only in the living room/Hair dryer would have taken care of Everything heavy, obviously this home is recommended!

We had a great stay at Isabel and Aida’s place. The host was very communicative, flexible and helpful whenever we had a question. The place had everything we need and was very child friendly with all the toys, cutlery and gate at the stairs. The place is 5 minutes to Tavira by car. The only negative thing for us was the hard beds but it is also something personal and might not be a problem for everyone. Thank you Isabel and Aida for a great holiday!
