An architecturally sleek, light-filled apartment surrounded by meadows, forest, and mountains—modern, stylish, and consciously minimalist. Here, you will stay in the middle of nature, with maximum privacy and a mountain panorama. In the garden, there is a wooden sauna with sweeping views over the deer enclosure and the surrounding mountains. The apartment is located on a small organic farm that I run according to permaculture principles. There are deer in the meadows, as well as chickens, bees, cats, and a fish pond.

Enjoy your stay in this simple flat in an old house between Hieflau at the Enns river and Eisenerz, the medieval mining town for iron. Listen to the rushing Alpine river Erzbach; climb some peaks in the surrounding Alps or swim in the lake Leopoldsteinersee in a 10km bike ride on a cycle path. Update June 2025: works started to build a water power station on the river below the house. As a result there might be noise between 6:30am and 4pm on weekdays while the river bank is not accessible.

Präbichl is in Semriach near Graz (not Eisenerz). The house is very quiet without artificial light nearby. Outdoor lighting available. Parking spot outside the house. No other guests Linens, towels, hair dryer are provided. In the kitchen there are cookware and cutlery, dishwasher, stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine, filter coffee pot, teapot, spices, oil, vinegar, bookcase with lots of games, even for kids. The ecological mini wooden house on the banks of the Enns was designed by the artist and mountain hiking guide Susanne Posegga and built by hand with love. The colors of the building reflect the landscape and the refined architecture makes the building appear much larger than it actually is. The sunny location right on the bank of the wild river overlooking the majestic peaks of the Gesäuse is unique. You can also dock kayaks directly at the property.

Waldhütte KOSAK | Secluded location on the Alm

Spend an unforgettable time in the secluded, wild and romantic forest hut KOSAK, located at about 1,300 m above sea level, just a short drive via a private forest road from Trofaiach. In the cozy farmhouse parlor, a table stove awaits you, providing cozy warmth. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor with 4 futon beds. 👉 Our Kosak forest hut has been expanded: Since May 2025 with shower & toilet!

Many destinations can be reached in 1 hour by car: Lake Neusiedl, Mariazell, Hohe Wand, Rax and Schneeberg for hiking and much more.

Our stylish and luxurious alpine chalet is located at 1400 m above sea level. Enjoy the 80 m² terrace with panoramic sauna and jacuzzi. The secluded location makes our chalet with a bottle of wine from the in-house wine cellar something very special. In winter, the Kreischberg, Grebenzen and Lachtal areas invite you to ski. In summer, hikes and a visit to the district capital of Murau are recommended.
