If you want to go fishing, talk to the host for tips. There are many hiking opportunities. Electricity is available but no running water. Water in water jugs and outdoor toilet. Traditional style.

Magnor center about 2 km where you have for example Magnor Glassworks and porcelain, Ingelsrud confectionery, Kiwi and gas station. Skotterud about 7 km. There are several shops and cafes there. Sweden is about 4 km away. Charlottenberg shopping center is located a little further in. Alpine center about 20 min away. Kongsvinger golf club about 25 km and there is a golf course in Eda.

Unique houseboat on Skjervangen in Eidskog! Sleep to the sound of waves and wake up to sunrise over the lake. You get a private boat ride out to the raft, which has a tent with a double bed, seating area, gas stove, toilet, storm kitchen and barbecue. Enjoy the evenings with food and views, take a morning swim right from the raft or row a rowboat with life jackets included. Pike bites on the rod right off the raft. The house has 3 floors and the 3rd floor has its own living area that are loved by the children. Its 15 minutes to the ski slope and lakes for fishing and swimming.
