The cabin is only a short trip away from Vøringsfossen, a very famous attraction in Eidfjord. 20 minutes by car takes you to the city center in Eidfjord, where you can experience fjords and mountains. There is great hiking terrain around the cabin, and it is only a short drive to hiking opportunities at Hardangervidda.

Cozy cabin near Vøringsfossen and hiking trails

Our small, cozy family cabin is located in the middle of the butter at the foot of Hardangervidda. 5 min walk to the convenience store there is also a fast charge for electric car. The cabin has electricity and water. The cabin is located on the sunny side of the valley and you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace with a lovely view. Remember to bring hiking shoes because here you will find endless opportunities for amazing mountain hikes. In the winter you can go skiing and slide right down the ski slopes of Sysendalen. Or walk a few hundred meters up to the ski lift.

A traditional cabin is set against a backdrop of rolling hills and greenery. A wooden deck extends from the entrance, with outdoor seating and a flag displayed. The roof is adorned with moss, and large windows enhance the cabin's rustic charm.

Cozy cottage on the Maurset

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Large sunny plot New kitchen and newly renovated bathroom. Hiking trails and groomed ski slopes and ski trails just outside the door. Ski in/out. Fishing opportunities. Amazing view to Hardangervidda National Park. Outdoor furniture can be used freely In winter it is nice to go skiing, sledding and playing on the large sunny plot. There is plenty of space for parking in the free parking space and about 80 meters to the cabin on the path in the summer and about 200 meters in the winter.

An outdoor deck features a wooden flooring area with two reclining chairs and a small table. A spacious seating arrangement is present, allowing for relaxation while enjoying the surrounding mountain views.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of hiking opportunities. Large and well-equipped cabin. Garage. Prepared ski slopes just below. In the summer there is a bike/hiking road there. Short drive to the alpine at the Maurset There is 3 km to the charging station and colonial. In the summer there is also an open colonial shop within walking distance of the cabin. Short driving distance to Vøringsfossen. It is 20 min to Eidfjord. There are 2 cots for 0-2 years. 1 junior bed. 1 high chair, 2 junior chairs Toys and puzzles for kids.

Lovely mountain apartment at Maurset

Welcome to our great cabin apartment! Here you have all you need with lovely hiking trails just outside the door all year round, as well as walking distance to ski slopes. The cabin is peaceful and spacious and offers all modern facilities such as fiber broadband, driving all the way and 200 meters to convenience store with charging stations (Eviny/Tesla). Shop is open 7-23 every day. The apartment is the most sheltered in the field, with unobstructed views. The apartment must be left in the same condition as upon arrival.

Modern and cosy cabin close to famous Vøringsfoss!

Velkommen til vår flotte hytte! Hytten ble bygget sommeren 2022 og ligger i et fantastisk fjellområde et lite stykke ovenfor Vøringsfoss, ved foten av Hardangervidda nasjonalpark. Hytten disponerer to parkeringsplasser på privat parkeringsplass tilhørende Åstestølen hyttefelt. Det er kommunal vei helt til parkeringsplassen og en kort gåtur til hytten, på grussti. Det er et meget rolig og etablert hytteområde med hyggelige naboer. Kort vei til nærbutikk på Maurset, alpinanlegg og merkede stier.

Welcome! The house has a lovely view of the fjord and is centrally located in Ulvik, in a peaceful neighborhood. The house is partially renovated and partly old, and has a terrace and a lovely garden. In the right season you can find fruits such as apple, plums, pears, morels and blackcurrants in the garden. Right by Vøringsfossen! Here you can enjoy amazing nature right outside the door. A place for those who appreciate the “simple life”, in a calm setting with beautiful views. There's a steep path up to the cabin that takes about 10 minutes. You must bring linen and towels. Bring your own firewood and you wash the cabin yourself. Family cabin from 2018 that is suitable for 1-2 families. Easy access to the cabin and plenty of space for parking in the yard. The cabin is cozy and well equipped. Great hiking possibilities in both summer and winter, both short hikes and top hikes. Short distance to the lookout point Vøringsfossen and possible day trips to Hardangervidda Nature Center in Øvre Eidfjord, Mikkelparken in Kinsarvik, Dronningstien and Trolltunga.
