Very good accommodation and warm hospitality for people and dogs. There were two of us with two dogs and we all felt very comfortable. The place is equipped as described and everything was very clean. Kay and his family were always available and very friendly. There was a welcome gift for humans and animals, as well as wood for the fire pit. We were even able to get into the property earlier and leave later. Since we planned hikes, we got our money's worth, because the location is optimal to start directly from the front door. The accommodation is located directly on the edge of the forest, so it was just wonderfully quiet and relaxing for everyone. We would love to come back, with more time for more hiking trails. Great place in good location - easy access by car, tram nearby to head into city centre if desired and could walk to local bakery and supermarket. Very spacious flat with everything that might be needed. Also great comms from host. Would happily stay again.

Very nice, quiet and cozy apartment with everything you need. Very well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and great location for excursions in the area and hikes. Communication, check-in and check-out were great and very straightforward. Gudrun is an incredibly warm and helpful host who provided us with good tips for excursions, etc. We felt completely comfortable and at home and would be happy to come back. The place is highly recommended!

Parking is the only issue so best park before 4pm and take taxis or walk to enjoy evenings out

Wonderful apartment in Bad Elster. Perfect location - walking distance to parks and bakery, surrounded by forest with beautiful starry skies at night. The host was attentive, and all our needs were met. Great for groups and very comfortable. Fresh air and peaceful surroundings made our stay truly enjoyable. Staying with Heiko was the best Airbnb experience we've had ( and we travel quite often ). We felt like we were visiting a friend. The place was great. To the smallest details.
