What a fabulous house for a family break! So much space that for the 11 of us to spread out in,we never felt over crowded. The house was very well equipped,we could all comfortably sit down to eat. The garden was very safe for the children to run around in and it was such a quiet area. David was very responsive to any query I had. I think we could be back next year!

We were so lucky to find this at such short notice. Perfect location. (Turns out I came here 40 years ago with my parents). Very quiet and safe. Great for families and easy access to all the great beaches on the north coast. The lodge was virtually brand new and has everything you need for self catering. Everyone on the site was friendly. Nice play area and walks around the site especially with a toddler in tow. Highly recommend and we’ve already talked about coming back….. if they’ll have us. 😬

Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the world. Well equipped and comfortable. Seating in the living area would be better suited for a family/couple with children rather than 6 adults, though plenty of seating in dining area. Beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was powerful with unlimited hot water. Excellent location with direct access to the river, this must be a perfect spot in the summer months. Parking was a little tricky and a short distance from the property but clear instructions were provided with suggestions for where to park. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and would not hesitate to book again.

Me and my family had a fantastic time away . The accommodation was as described in the advert. Had a small issues at the start but resolved within minutes . Hosts were super friendly . Highly recommend

What a great find! The Log Cabin was a perfect base for the pair of us exploring Devon. After busy days on the coast or in Dartmoor, it was great to BBQ in the big garden, watching evening fall and the swallows dart about. It’s compact but doesn’t feel like that owing to Belinda’s clever use of space and décor. The pictures are accurate. Whatever space you’re in feels spacious and even sumptuous. I could be in the kitchen happily doing my thing while my partner lounged in the pleasant living room. Belinda is a great host, very helpful, coming to our rescue several times. We look forward to returning.

An absolutely glorious stay — we fell in love with this beautiful corner of Cornwall. Olivia and Daniel were the perfect hosts: warm, generous, and full of thoughtful touches. The converted barn we stayed in couldn’t have been more beautiful, fitted out to a high standard with a creative eye. We especially loved the open-plan kitchen-living space, comfy mezzanine bed, the great shower, huge CD collection, super-fast WiFi, and the views across the lawn. The setting is truly magical — the photos can’t begin to do it justice. Acres of peaceful wooded gardens, a stream running through, spring flowers everywhere — and just a few minutes’ drive from some of the most stunning coastline in Cornwall. We loved hopping on the ferry to Fowey (amazing restaurants) and exploring Looe, Polperro, Lostwithiel and Polruan. This place feels like a hidden gem. We left already planning our return, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, unforgettable escape. Thank you!

Wonderful hosts, beautiful cottage with everything we needed for our stay. Lovely and clean and in a great location not too far to travel to get to lovely beaches and walks.

It’s quite simply a beautiful place to be. Water views to the front - from the terrace, the lounge, kitchen and bedrooms. Fields to the rear. As the hours pass and the tides change, so does the wildlife. It’s just mesmerising. We spent a week, as a family - 3 siblings and our mum. The 4 bedrooms are all a great size, really comfortable beds, good linen. The living areas are spacious and well equipped. The covered terrace is just the best place - even when the weather takes a turn and that’s where we spent most of our time, watching the waters change and the birds fly and feed. Thank you Mark, for all your great communication and for this stunning home. It was everything.
