Monthly Rentals in Edinburgh Old Town

Norbert’s place was perfect. It was walkable to everywhere we had to go in Edinburgh. It was beautiful and the touches of art are stunning. The place is very clean and really feels like a hotel rather than someone’s living space, while still being inviting and giving a sense of home. We were very glad to have booked and stayed here.

Location and vibe are great - just know that staying on the Royal Mile comes with the expected noise… and the age of the building of course comes with the anticipated quirks as well. Overall, a great place with style and an ideal location for setting off exploring. There were a few small details that could be addressed - no trash bags, paper towels, etc. But, it was offset by the location.

Martin was the most gracious host, he even stocked the fridge with milk, eggs, butter, jam, and bread! The location is right on cockburn street and walkable to all popular destinations old town/new town/stockbridge areas. Water was hot and the space was clean! At checkin Martin met us at the door, walked us through everything and even gave us a quick map tour with recommendations on what not to miss. Highly recommend this space !

Staying at Johns place was perfect. The location is hands down what will bring us back. Theme was perfect as we are Harry Potter fans. Bed was really comfortable and the place had a very cozy and welcoming feel to it. Only hassle was parking! Had to park a little ways away and had to pay. Not the cheapest parking. But again, worth it for the location and the cozy feel when walking in! One more thing to note that if you struggle with stairs and carrying your luggage this might be a bit challenging. But if you have someone to help you out you will be fine! Thanks again John for being a great host! Will for sure be looking at your availability if we come back to Edinburgh!
