Functional and very well maintained cabin, comfortable and warm. A nice sleeping area with a double bed, a small bed on one side and a large double bed on the other side. Martin is very kind and always attentive. We had a great time, I would highly recommend it.

A little gem a few hours’ drive from Gothenburg or just one from Oslo. A true “glamping” experience where you get to experience being in the middle of the forest and connected to nature yet have a warm bed and pretty much everything you need (a place to cook, an outdoor toilet and shower, a powerful energy bank, etc.) while respecting the environment. Marco and Nevi are superb hosts; if you want privacy, they will respect that; if you want to have suggestions, they are there for you anytime. Looking forward to going back again in the future!

Staying at Hans' house was a great experience. Super clean, beautiful surroundings, warm and cozy. Hans was helpful and welcoming, and we enjoyed the fact that there was a cozy ski resort five minutes away, a super toboggan run right outside the door, and only a small drive to various shopping opportunities. We send our warmest recommendations and hope we get the opportunity to come back one day. We continue to enjoy the beautifully located conservatory on a summer day. On the other hand, the wood-burning stove was prepared for coziness in the winter cold❄️☀️

Beautiful quiet and private lakeside location! You can really switch off and also go on beautiful hikes. The house is very large and offers enough space and amenities for a large family trip. The house is a bit older and you have to get used to some noises at night :)

We had a very nice and relaxed time in Gina's house, which was very cozy and harmoniously furnished. In particular, our children enjoyed the small extra cottage, so she had her "own" vacation home. The lake can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. We were mostly alone there. We highly recommend the cottage!!!

We were able to arrive very spontaneously on the same day. We got an answer to questions quickly and the communication was generally very good. We were able to enjoy two beautiful and quiet days in the middle of nature and can imagine booking this house again.

Our family had a wonderful time at this magnificent home. This is a special property, cared for with such loving detail by the owners. It has everything you need for a perfect lakeside holiday in the beautiful Swedish countryside. The views of the lake and sunset painted sky are surreal and peaceful. There are many things for guests to use, boats, kayaks, bikes, and games, stocked kitchen and BBQ! Tor has even created a walking path through the forest for guests to easily navigate right in their own backyard! The house is full of great spaces, many bedrooms/bathrooms plus common areas for relaxing in the surroundings of a majestic, pristine historical home. We feel very fortunate that they open their home to guests, it truly is a treasure. As host, Ellen was so accommodating and gracious and her attention to detail and availability to make her guests feel welcome and relaxed was evident and appreciated by us. We highly recommend this unique house by the lake and hope to return again!

Summer idyll just outside Arvika

Beautiful lakeside location, with private rowboat. Ideal for slowing down and switching off. The house offers everything you need (except an oven) and is comfortably furnished. A few minutes' drive from Arvika, the Glasfjorden and the Glaskogen National Park. Johan is an extremely accommodating host, answered each time within the shortest possible time and solved problems (we had a broken oar) promptly. Thank you very much for the time in your “house on the lake.”

We were 6 adults and two children, who have enjoyed ourselves so much in this lovely place! We have bathed, enjoyed the many outlets and took nice hikes in the local area. Perfect for finding peace and plenty of space to hang out with several families. The hosts respond quickly, are very helpful and very nice. Thank you so much for your time.

Nice holiday home with all the amenities you could wish for. Super nice that the beds are covered upon arrival and that towels are available. Also the kitchen is perfectly equipped to cook for yourself and is very cozy if the weather does not allow to eat outside on the terrace. We enjoyed getting out in nature during the day and in the evening enjoyed the terrace and the extra garden room a few times. Nice plus is the sauna that heats up quickly, nice after a long walk. Definitely recommended!

Very nice little cabin located in a fantastic place by the lake. Calm and harmonious surroundings, we have a great time in the cottage. The wood-burning fireplace provided very good warmth and elevated the experience of relaxation. We really recommend that cabin to others who want to get out into nature and experience relaxation. When there was also snow on New Year's Eve, it made the landscape outside the window absolutely fabulous.

Cozy and modern cabin right by the ski lift to Valfjellet, its own barbecue room (which we unfortunately did not have time to test) and a short way to Charlottenberg. We only had one accommodation but next time there will be several, very pleasant stay and Tauno was a really nice host. Recommended!

We had wonderful weeks at this location. Beautiful surroundings. Close to the Norwegian border. Wonderfully quiet in September. The house is very fully furnished and equipped with all the comforts. Rowing boat and canoe at your disposal. Groceries can be picked up nearby at the Coop in Skillingsfors. Charlottenberg is 25 minutes away by car and there you have a large shopping center. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas. We'll definitely go back sometime.

We were here for the second time and felt right at home again. It is very cozy, with many different ways to sit or lie outside and enjoy and observe nature. Moose, fallow deer (including white ones!) and deer were also promptly there. Sandra was very accommodating and took care of everything. Unfortunately, we were only able to stay 3 nights, which passed far too quickly. Next time we will hopefully be able to stay longer, for hiking, swimming, canoeing and just relaxing in this fascinating environment.

We stayed five nights in Celine's cozy and "typical Swedish" accommodation. We spent our time collecting chanterelles, fishing, with numerous great moose encounters as well as relaxing evenings in front of the fireplace. That's why it wasn't hard for us to leave some comfortable habits and enjoy the luxury of simple things.

A modern house features a triangular window design and is surrounded by a landscaped garden filled with various plants and flowers. A gravel path leads up to the entrance, while green grass covers the area in front, enhancing the natural setting.

We were 8 family members celebrating birthday to our youngest daughter of 20 years, the place suited us perfectly, plenty of space, lots of bedrooms and a lovely setting. Large kitchen that was incredibly well equipped, tastefully decorated with delicious details. The place was scenic, with a nice view of a water. I would like to visit the place again when it's summer and swimming opportunities.

We loved staying at Marta and Adam’s place. They were both very friendly and responsive! The kitchen was very well equipped and they quickly provided us with condiments when we ran out. The house feels very private and safe, the bathroom is on ground floor and the stairs lead us up to the bedroom and living/kitchen area. We had brilliant views from the balcony- the stars, sunsets, sunrises, even a fleeting aurora!!! I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a calm, quiet haven in the midst of nature. 🩵

I went to Sweden to visit my daughter and son-in -law. The appartment was very close to their home. My daughter provided me with bedsheets and towels, because I couldn't take much luggage in the airplane. On arrival, just before the evening started, a small light was on and the heating made the appartment feel very comfortable. "it's the little thinhgs, that make a house a home." I loved being here. Super central location, in the middle of Storgata only 3 min to Olssons Brygga and the other eating places and to the great park. The apartment was home cozy, with a very good bed and one kitchen that had what we needed, large nice bathroom and extra toilet. Highly recommend, we are happy to return.
