House vacation rentals in Échillais

We had a great time thanks to Patricia and Joël's absolutely exceptional cottage…! We had 3 children under 5 and everything was adapted and made for them: games for each of their ages, books, a small desk to be able to draw and tinker, board games, puzzles. But above all the garden was beautiful and did not lack activities for children with the treehouse, trampoline and swings… The bikes left at our disposal were a real luxury, and allowed us to discover all the surrounding paths! The kids (and the parents too!!) were particularly touched by their little surprise/departure gift! Again, a huge thank you for these small touches, for your discretion and kindness. We will remember the property and recommend it 200%!

Quiet stay in the countryside with the sound of the river as background music. Ideal for large group stays. The house is spacious, very well-equipped, and tastefully decorated. There is nothing missing and Tony and his wife are very friendly, available and attentive. Canoes allow a safe discovery of the environment for all ages.

Very nice accommodation, as described and even beyond our expectations regarding the garden which is huge, very well appointed and perfectly maintained. The indoor pool was appreciated in view of the mixed weather. We had a great weekend with friends! I would recommend it in a second.

quiet and peaceful location with all the necessary equipment. The apartment is tastefully refurbished. A small terrace to enjoy the outdoors... given the weather I could not enjoy the pool but it will be for the next time. I will come back with great pleasure.

Four idyllic days on this island that I love with all my heart, in Celine's house, perfect, quiet, close to everything (market, city center, slopes, beach) and with a peaceful charm. A wonderful break

We had a short stay at Blandine's, who took us in at her place. The house is spacious, the decor is neat, and the patio is very nice. Blandine was accommodating for our arrival time and we enjoyed her delicate attention upon arrival (bottles of water, small shortbreads). Thank you Blandine, this stay was too short...

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

we had a very good stay with Framboise. the house is cosy and practical. it is just about 8 minutes by bike to Le Chateaux d'Oleron. bakery and supermarket are not far away. communication with Framboise was easy and quick.

On a business trip, we enjoyed the calm and comfort after the days at the embroidery show. Melanie was very available both on arrival and on departure. We'll be happy to book on our next visit 🌸🌿

Sophie and Patrice's very friendly welcome was the first sign of a pleasant and comfortable stay (nothing is missing!) in the cottage of "Bapaille". A few kilometers away, many famous sites (Brouage) or surprising sites (the stones of Crazannes), picturesque villages... are waiting to be discovered. For those who appreciate the calm and green serenity, you are in the right place as long as you don't forget to shop beforehand! The attentive listening of owners who are passionate about local history is appreciated. We'll be happy to go back.

Great stay in a beautiful quiet house with the Palmyre Zoo 30 minutes away, the La Rochelle Aquarium 30 minutes away and Royan 30 minutes away as well. Supermarket only 10 min max. Amandine, a great host, very sociable, welcomes you, very available and very responsive to the slightest problem, a good little place.

Jenifer's accommodation has been tastefully renovated. The amenities are as qualitative and numerous as a main house: hair dryer, washing machine, oven, kettle, in short everything is there. you can access the beach in 2 minutes by bike, 5 minutes on foot, happiness.

Nadine is a very nice, unobtrusive hostess. We were very pleased with her house, adjacent to a small garden with terrace, on the other side of the house a green courtyard with shady tree, suitable both as a parking space for the car and as a lounge area. St. Pierre with its beautiful market hall was very pleasant in the preseason, for strolling and shopping as well as with good gastronomy. We will be happy to come back and also recommend the house!

Pleasant accommodation with its veranda, the listing description is true to reality. Extremely well-equipped, for info, the 3rd bedroom is an office with a sofa bed. We recommend this accommodation.

A real gem! The apartment is conveniently located in the heart of Rochefort, allowing access to everything on foot in minutes, while offering a quiet and peaceful setting. Completely tastefully renovated, it is perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. Finally, the warm welcome and attention of the hosts to their guests make the experience even more enjoyable. We would recommend it in a second!

Séverine has created a lovely gîte with great character, style and comfort. We stayed for two weeks and had everything we needed to feel at home. The gîte has a private back garden with table and chairs and a large area of parkland in front. It's in a peaceful location in the countryside but St Savinien is only a 10 min walk away and is one of the prettiest towns in the region. Lovely area for walking and cycling . Séverine and her husband Jean-Marc were great hosts.

I would recommend Thierry's accommodation, very clean, very quiet at the bottom of a cul-de-sac, shops nearby. Thierry is very welcoming, and when I return to the area, I will return to his home.
