Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ebensee

Our goal was to get out of the city into nature and enjoy a peaceful weekend with a group of six people. For this purpose, David's place was just perfect. The property as well as the house are beautiful and cozy, and we felt at home right away. It was exactly what we were looking for, right in the nature. Beyond that, there are amazing hiking possibilities starting right from the house. Parking for two cars was no issue. The check-in and check-out went flawless. And David was always responsive if we needed anything. I'm sure we'll visit again, whenever we're looking for such an experience again.

Wow, what a great place to stay. We spent our wedding vacation with Christina and couldn't have imagined a nicer place to stay. The view of the mountains, the idyllic property and especially the house with its own sauna. Just a dream. And with Christina herself, we had a really friendly and positive contact throughout. Marius was a wonderful host welcoming us and showing us around the house. He was also very responsive in the communications and always there to offer help and guidance. The view from the house is breathtaking, scenery and absolute peaceful silence. It was just what the doctor ordered for us to rest and recuperate with nature but not lacking any convenience. House itself was very comfortable, roomy and very clean. We visited Altausee and Grundlsee which were quite closeby and highly recommend. On Sundays, there is a self service grocery store in Altausee that we utilized as everything else was closed. We highly recommend Marius' place to anyone visiting the area.

We had a wonderful Christmas time in Scheffau and spent our 2024 celebration in this fantastic, idyllic cottage. Bernhard and his family were very friendly and even set up a lovingly decorated Christmas tree for us! On New Year's Eve, they provided us with a fire pit. The house was clean and well maintained, with authentic décor and stunning mountain views. The small stream next door provided a relaxing atmosphere. The ski and toboggan areas are just a stone's throw away, which our children enjoyed immensely! A highlight was the swimming pool with sauna area, only 15 minutes away, ideal for relaxing after a day in the snow. Bernhard also gave us many tips for excursions that enriched our stay. Overall it was a perfect family vacation and we highly recommend this vacation home! We look forward to our next visit!

From the very beginning, communication was warm and straightforward – you felt immediately welcome. The house itself surpasses the already beautiful pictures: furnished with a lot of love for detail, fully equipped and with a breathtaking view and a fantastic garden. Everything was perfect – a place to arrive, breathe and feel good. We will be happy to come back!

As a family of 5 this was a great place to stay. Plenty of room for all of us! Conny was a great host - really quick responsiveness to messages. She was there to greet us as soon as we arrived, and showed us everything in the house. It was absolutely spotless! Our children loved the sandpit and slide, as well as the piano! It was a beautiful property and location, so peaceful. Our children particularly loved watching the family of sheep and lambs! The bus stop (to go into the centre of Salzburg) was a 10 minute walk and buses run regularly. We hired a car (after flying into Munich) and had lots to do from the doorstep with the use of a car. There is a supermarket just 3 minutes from the house too which is super convenient. We would definitely stay here again - no one really wanted to leave!

We stayed for a few days with 8 people in Johann's beautiful house. The location is unique, with the view from the room to the mountain panorama you feel like you are in paradise. The surroundings offer plenty of opportunities for all ages for day-to-day activities. The charm of the house is unique! We would love to come back:-)

A perfect retreat for ski enthusiasts! The location on the mountain allowed for effortless access to the slopes. Rooms were excellently equipped, and the panoramic view of the snowy landscape was breathtaking. An unforgettable stay for anyone looking for the perfect mix of coziness and skiing fun. The ski ins and ski-out for the slopes could only be partially used due to bad weather. But that was not a problem as there is a ski bus that runs in the morning and evening. We'd love to come back! :)

We had a wonderful stay at Tabea’s place. It was the perfect setting for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with great views. We enjoyed sitting outside the house in front of the mountain and lake. The apartment itself provided everything we needed. It’s very modern and well decorated. Tabea and team put a lot of thoughts into making their guests feel comfortable and at home. There were fresh flowers in every room, candles and fragrance, and free snacks and drinks. It felt very luxurious and I was surprised given they were charging a very fair price. Tabea also provided a list of recommended places to visit. We went to around 5 of them- very good recommendations indeed! The location of the apartment makes it very easy to get to all the places we wanted to visits. Overall, highly recommend this place for anyone looking to visit this area!

The apartment was very very good! The apartment was fully equipped, modern, super clean and you immediately felt at home. Hot tub, huge TV with sound system, wood stove with fireplace and totally modern kitchen, etc. Apart from that, the apartment is in a very nice environment with mountains, lakes, etc. Radu is the nicest host I've ever met, 10/10 would go there again

We had a very nice and pleasant stay at the place. The place was nicely equipped and had a nice location with garden. The ski slopes of Flachau can be reached within 15 minutes by car. Since we came with two cars, we also had two front door keys + garage keys available. We will be happy to come back!

Great place with beautiful view at the mountain . Good place to stay for your holiday with nearby lake . Clean space . Sabine and her husband are really friendly . Sabine also very responsive and helpful for anything i asked her. Very good host .

Pauline's stay was great. The house is very nice and clean and has all the amenities you need, especially the kitchen. The garden is very nice. The location is strategic for visiting the lake region and Salzburg. Pauline was really kind and welcoming!

Super nice cabin, surrounded by nature. We had a great time and enjoyed the tranquility very much. Many thanks to Antonia and her husband, who drove us up from the village in the evening when there was no taxi.

This is a beautiful old wooden house in the mountains with plenty of space around it and a great view. When you enter you go back in time. The wood-fired stove is fantastic and outside is a nice fire pit where you can also barbecue. Drinking water is straight from the mountains. Matthias is a friendly host who helps you well in terms of the details of the house and the area. We had a very nice week at this special place. The area is a paradise for hikers and climbing routes are nearby between 30-60 min drive by car.

We spent two beautiful weeks of vacation in the Halthäusel in the summer. The house is very idyllic and rarely walkers or hikers pass by. Goats graze in the higher meadow and a few minutes' walk away you can visit extremely curious alpacas. Overall, the house gives a rustic-uristic impression and requires a certain adaptability of the residents. We got along well with the two available hotplates and the low water pressure, which requires some patience when using the shower facility. The friendly and cheerful co-host was always very responsive and would certainly have helped us promptly with any issues or questions. The cleanliness was fine according to the rustic character of the property. Conclusion: If you can cope with slightly simpler conditions, you can have a nice and special vacation here.

Ute is a great hostess, always there for us, quickly accessible and very warm. We immediately felt comfortable and at home. The place is very cozy and equipped with everything you need. The complex is very well maintained, the farm with the animals is a highlight. I'm sure we'll be back, see you soon Ute!

We had a very nice time in the cottage. The two children enjoyed the animals & the many play opportunities on the outdoor area. It was all very clean and well maintained and even more beautiful than in the pictures. Thanks to the sauna and hot tub, we were able to relax well and the view was fantastic on all sides!

A nice, quiet place in nature! We felt very comfortable there as a family. From there we did great tours (Hallstatt, Scharnstein ruins, Traunsee and Attersee…) Not mentioned by Florian, but a personal highlight for us: the underfloor heating. ☺️
