Vesuvio (an Italian restaurant) is close by & to the left of the beach hut is the tropical gardens and children's play area. The hut is well equipped for a day at the beach. There is a stove and kettle for that all important tea or coffee & lots of beach essentials. We love coming here as a family & we hope you will too.

We descended on Niall’s property for a book club weekend, after reading Northanger Abbey and wanting to visit Jane Austen’s house (approx 20min drive away). The house was so remote and peaceful, an expansive garden with beautiful views. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the living room was perfect for a comfy chat. We did have a few issues which were all speedily resolved by a friendly, proactive host. All in all, a fabulous weekend.

We had a great stay at Robert and Lucia’s place. The house was spacious, quiet and comfortable, and suited our family of 5 perfectly. Lucia was extremely helpful with recommendations of places to eat in the area and also helped promptly with a minor setback. We really enjoyed Ashley Cross, and exploring the wider area of Poole and Bournemouth, and would happily return. Thank you Lucia and Robert!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in Hill View cabin. Victoria was a great host, always quick and responsive with communication. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. We pre ordered the breakfast basket for our first morning and it was delicious. We also loved getting a coffee from Betty the Caravan and the whole atmosphere, peace and quiet was just wonderful. It was a short walk to the Hampshire Bowman pub where we had a great meal. Thank you Victoria for a wonderful stay and will most definitely be back again. Feeling very relaxed and recharged. Highly recommend a stay at Damson Hill Cottage.

The location was ideal, offering a peaceful retreat in what feels like the absolute middle of nowhere. Communication with Edd was spot on, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a perfect getaway—it was absolutely amazing!

This Airbnb was lovely. The Yurt looks exactly like the pictures and everything was laid out/decorated perfectly. The place is extremely cosy and considering it was Feb we didn’t struggle to keep warm with the fire going. It has everything you’d need for a stay and the host was super helpful and responsive. I can imagine that the outdoor area would be lovely in the summer too.
