Bungalow vacation rentals in Eastern Visayas

The place is just spectacular! Everything was so peaceful, quiet, and breath- taking. We didnt want to leave because the place was just so beautiful and relaxing. Although our trip plans changed because of the typhoon, we didn't mind being stranded in this heavenly place. I would definitely recommend this place. 5 stars! Agie the caretaker was very attentive and made sure to cater to everything that we needed. He was always available and always says yes without any complaint. His aura was relaxing and accommodating as well, which made him very approachable. Great location, small shops all around, easy to walk for groceries. Grab and FoodPanda deliver to the location with ease. Air conditioners in the bedrooms work fabulously, you almost don't want to leave, but there are several provided fans to keep cool in the main area. The beds were plenty big, although the mattresses were too hard for our comfort. The extra pull out beds on rollers underneath the main beds came in handy. Almost everything needed to cook was provided, rice cooker, hot water heater, coffee maker, plenty of pots and pans for the cooktop.

Host was really responsive, every inquiry was replied in a very short time. It was very hot and humid that time of our stay, so aircon cannot keep up with it, but during the night it was very cold so it was clear airconditioner was functioning well. Place was kinda far from the usual spots visited, but sari sari store was available just outside the gate. In terms of amenities, it was what we expected, and we had no problem with water. Refrigerator and Netflix was a big plus to us. Overall, it was a nice stay for us, and is highly recommended to 3-5 pax travellers in Olango.

This was such a wonderful experience. It is beautiful and the pictures and amenities are exactly as expected. We also took advantage of booking the house helper that was available for an extra fee. Ami was an amazing house helper. She is a wonderful cook and assisted with anything that we needed. While we didn’t need to accompany her to the market, I asked if I could because I wanted the experience, and she was always happy to allow me to come with if I liked. She was very nice and personable. The Host clearly makes an effort to choose quality people to assist their guests. Any time I needed to reach out to the host, they were very responsive and helpful. They set up private transport to and from Cebu City for us and also offered to set up any excursions that we might want to do during our stay. I will definitely choose to stay at Casa Nova again when I next return to Malapascua.
