Clean, good location, few people so shared bathroom and kitchen was still very private.

I am visiting Port Elliot Beach House for the third time. This time I stayed in an ensuite balcony room. It is a two-room small apartment with a fridge, TV, microwave and kettle. It can accommodate 4 people plus two on the sofa. In the building downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen with fridges and three large rooms for relaxation. The house is located in a beautiful place with a view of the ocean and close to the beach. It is served by very friendly staff. I recommend this place to anyone who likes peace and long walks by the ocean.

Royal Derby Hotel is a great spot! Prime location on Brunswick St and very quiet, even above a pub!! The room was gorgeous and just right for what we were looking for. We'll be back!

Clean and tidy Hostel. Had loads of things for kids and adults to pass time at the lounge and eating area. Close proximity to restaurants and Thredbo chairlift. Responsive host.

Very Nice. Great access into cairns, amenities were clean and tidy.

Great communication before arriving. Really helpful staff allowed me to bring bag before check in and pointed me in the direction for my stay! Definitely recommend👍🏻

Pros: everything that Audrey has said and done regarding the place was accurate, helpful, and responsive. Literally no fault with her. Cons: There are shared spaces so expect it to be fairly smelly (not poo-ey but just smells unpleasant). Ironically, the amenities and bed are actually fairly clean and function well. It’s near a gentlemen’s club so a bit sus. Location is pretty decent, you’re not terribly far from anything in CBD.

I visited Townsville to watch NRL and stayed at The Commonwealth. Friendly venue, traditional pub with great menu, cold refreshing brews perfect in the heat. This is great value accommodation. Clean tidy basic living, very functional, ideally located to watch your team play Cowboys. Shuttle bus to and from stadium. Helpful knowledgeable staff, great set up if you have to depart early for flights. Locals love their footy but were philosophical when we won. :D Looking forward to my next visit. Cheers
