A beautiful accomodation in the hinterland of Murwillumbah. We spent our days exploring the beaches and towns and the late afternoons relaxing and enjoying the views and the sunsets. We especially loved seeing a large flock of black cockatoos.

We spent the Easter long weekend at the Headmaster's Cottage. Linda ans Phil were amazing hosts. The cottage is self contained and has literally everything you could possibly need for a great stay. The spaces are modern and clean with a touch of country flair. The BBQ and the woodfire bath were amazing treats to enjoy during our stay. The short walk to Mortimer's wines next door means you can easily enjoy a wine tasting without needing to drive. The short 5-7 min drive into town was easy. We drove ourselves or grabbed one of the readily available Orange taxis when heading out for dinner. I would highly recommend Linda and Phil's place to anyone looking for a perfect couples retreat in beautiful scenery. We loved it and we will come back for sure!

These cottages are so comfortable and better than you could imagine. The view when waking up and seeing the sunset from your deck, spa bath or bed whilst seeing local wildlife is the definition of relaxation. We particularly enjoyed the kayaking on the lake and feeding the horses carrots. Ashley has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and romantic, if that’s what you’re after. Thank you Ashley! We will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful experience would definitely come again so peaceful and calming and just all in all perfect. Rozi and husband were extremely sweet and very helpful. Well worth the $$ spent.

One of our best stays with Airbnb. The home is just so peaceful and lovely. The views are gorgeous, there's an amazing fire pit, comfy deck furniture and the jacuzzi. One of our day trip plans fell through and honestly we were glad to spend the day at the house instead. We haven't felt this relaxed in a long time. We had everything we needed for cooking, and there was a lot of food and cooking ingredients provided.

Beautiful stay! The outdoor hot tub was a real winner for us! Lovely furnishings and details. Would def recommend.

We had a great one-night stay at The Blue Bollard. Joanne was a responsive and welcoming host, greeting us on arrival. The space was clean, tidy, and cutely decorated—just what we needed for a short stay. Conveniently located near Apollo Bay’s restaurants and pubs, it made exploring the area easy and enjoyable.

What a wonderful week spent at Beachscape. Communication was outstanding and suggested things to do and places to visit were very welcome (thank you Craig). The house is very well appointed has everything a couple or family needs. We will most definitely be returning in the future.

Emily's place was a lovely oasis, a very short walk to the main street and great dining options. Only a couple of streets from the beach. We loved our stay, the house had everything we needed and very well presented. We felt right at home.

Chris was friendly, hospital & welcomed use of herbs in the garden. The bowl of walnuts were terrific as well as the bananas hanging to welcome us. The kitchenette was well supplied with cooking alternatives. It was a cosy unassuming haven for our 12 day stay. Loved its proximity to Anna Bay surf beach. Easy walk.

Perfect spot for exploring this part of Australia. Particularly loved the sunset views from decking. Would definately stay again.

This is a lovely cottage with stunning rainforest views, tree ferns and mature trees, as well as an incredible creek and waterfall right on the property! Truly special. The fenced back yard and pet door made it so easy with dogs and we enjoyed the fire and bath. The bed deserves a mention as we both need a good quality mattress - not too hard as we both have shoulder issues. We really slept well. There were quite a few leeches so it’s good to check feet/shoes and puppies when entering the house. Dale and Glenn were kind and accommodating. Highly recommend this property.

Terrific house, spacious, great yard suitable for dogs and a wonderful veranda to sit and entertain or watch the world go by. Five minutes to the beach.

We spent a perfect two days at this cottage. Having a coffee on the porch overlooking the paddocks, and having the sheep and chickens come to visit was such a lovely experience. The cottage is close to the local shops, wineries, the brewery, walking trails, the beach and more. It has everything you could need for two people- the bathroom is very luxurious with under floor heating. We can't wait to stay here again.

It is a pleasure to write a 5 star review for Suzette’s cottage. Staying in the cottage was like taking a step back in time, yet it had everything I needed. The attention to detail, both in the house and the surrounding gardens is impressive. Very private and peaceful setting, clean and very friendly host. Would love to come back if visiting in the area again.

Lovely, serene, peaceful place to spend the Easter long weekend. Off grid too. Beautiful views out to Inman Valley. Peter and Michelle are very responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cottage in the woods. The surroundings were incredibly serene, making it easy to unwind and relax. We especially loved curling up by the fireplace in the evenings and soaking in the jacuzzi under the stars – those were the highlights of our stay. The kitchen and bathroom are basic but very tidy and cosy, providing all the essentials we needed. Just a small heads up: the kitchen doesn’t have pantry extras like spices or cooking oil, so make sure to bring your own if you plan to cook. Overall, it was a wonderful and relaxing experience, and we would happily return for another getaway!

I loved my stay here. The garden is so beautiful, peaceful, and overall a lovely place. Jojo was also super friendly and helpful.

The location is super close to beach and restaurants, the suburb is quiet we all like it. My furry friend also loves the beautiful yard. We will definitely book this wonderful spot again if we back to Shoal Bay!

Nicolette was a fabulous host, she greeted us in a friendly. manner and made us feel at home instantly. She let us settle in then came to see if there was anything else we required. The cottage was immaculately clean, comfortable newly fitted out with everything you need, and extremely comfortable and private, in fact worth a lot more than 5 stars. The setting was wonderful lovely gardens and bush backdrop butterflies birds and the occasional visit from a wallaby and joey, we were lucky to see them as they are not regular. Nicolette has two gorgeous friendly little dogs who came to visit us which we enjoyed they were no trouble we asked for them to visit. The pool is lovely and was nice for swimming. We could go on but we will say Nicolette's BNB really is a little piece of heaven and Nicolette herself is a wonderful host. We arrived as strangers and we feel, left as friends. We stayed for three nights 11-14 April not long enough. We will definitely be back
