The Game Keepers, Liskeard

OwainRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a wonderful stay with Julie & Roger. The cottage was a good size so felt spacious and the grounds were beautiful. Super fast wifi and all the amenities you would need Julie and Roger were super helpful with their advice and recommendations and even drove myself and my daughter to the train station when we were without a car. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Cornwall to consider staying here. Whilst you’re not immediately within the towns or harbour villages you are well placed to cover a wide area and the surroundings are so quiet and picturesque

The Old Stables, a private and spacious barn

AnaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was such a a great spot for our Cornwall vacation. We wanted something central to the whole peninsula and this fit that well. Beyond location, what a fantastic place! Lots of room, well appointed, beautiful garden, beautiful surroundings. We can't say enough about this spot. Matt was a fantastic host, very helpful and easy to communicate with. 10/10 would recommend for anyone wanting to be in the Cornwall area, or even just looking to escape and have a beautiful secluded holiday away from it all.

This hut is fantastic. The bed is super comfy and I love the fact it had an actual table to sit and eat it at. Emma was also super super fantastic at helping me find some Food last minute and really helpful. I'd highly recommend to anyone

Warm welcome including freshly made apple juice from their own orchard. Beautiful, private, peaceful, lots of running space for children. Wild deer and rabbits seen. Spotless warm property. Diverse selection of books to keep everyone happy. Note fridge is quite small, and freezer very small. Thank you for a lovely stay, great value and memorable.

Cowslip Cottage at Botelet Farm

JaneRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location , 2nd visit here and I never want to leave. Comfortable relaxed with lovely farmhouse kitchen and cosy lounge with big log burner , plenty of logs to keep you going. The beds are comfy with snuggly quilts and pillows. Communication is great with the hosts and very helpful , I’m still confused with regards to the hob as its induction and some pans work and some dont , maybe instructions would be helpful for that , also maybe some trivets to save the work surfaces. Will definitely return as I love the area and cottage and feel totally relaxed and at home here. E

The Barn by the Warleggan River

SteveRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Wow.... What an amazing place. We where looking for somewhere quite and relaxing and the Barn was perfect. Debi's communication was great from the moment we made the booking until the moment we arrived at the Barn. First impressions where that we had found a very special place in a unique location and we relaxed into our break instantly. We chilled out for the first day in the property that was equipped with everything we need, the welcome basket was a lovely surprise and we really enjoyed the cream tea. On the second day we again relaxed and soaked up the fantastic feel of the Barn and how close you feel to nature when staying there. We decided to do the walk to the Halfway House that we found in the comprehensive information pack that Debi and Martyn have put together. The walk was easy and went through some beautiful countryside, we enjoyed a Rattler before taking the gentle stroll back up the hill. This property has everything you require to relax in an amazing environment.
