Monthly Rentals in East Stone Gap

We really enjoyed our time in this peaceful corner of western Virginia. Karen’s place was located in an area where multiple pristine hikes with waterfalls were just a short drive away. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities for cooking healthy meals, the beds were comfortable and towels were soft. I would love to return in the spring when the rhododendrons are blooming, or in summer to explore some of the local swimming holes.

This was my second trip at Close Quarters and it was just as good as the first. The little town of Gate City is beautiful and full of historic sights. The mountain view is beautiful and the trains run often enough to catch a glimpse each day. The home is cozy and perfect for two. I always feel at peace when visiting. The hosts leave multiple snacks and waters for guests & it is overall a wonderful stay. We love visiting this little town when we attend Smoky Mountain Terror Convention & hope to be back next August!

Joshua is a terrific host. This location is perfect and in a great location. Everyone was so nice.

The location is very peaceful! The creek is big! I loved the church, beautifully decorated and more stocked with things for guests than other airbnb's we have stayed at! Great communication also!
