Vacation rentals with a kayak in East Lyme

The Boulder Lake House was absolutely beautiful. The photos do not do the home justice. They have everything you can possibly need inside and it was immaculately clean! We traveled with our 2 & 4 year olds who are very particular about things & they loved the house. Made themselves right at home. The amenities were endless and the kitchen was a treasure to use; we ate home for every meal. We had an issue with the deck door & owner was at the house within 20 minutes to help. Very respectful & helpful. I would definitely reserve this house in the future.

Our stay here was amazing! So much attention to detail was put into every aspect of this home. It was spotless and very well maintained. We enjoyed being able to use the kayaks, paddleboards, and canoe. We never felt like something was missing and never had a hard time finding what we needed. It is such a quiet and peaceful area and we spent a lot of time just sitting by the water relaxing. We loved being able to have a fire right by the water as well. The downstairs game room/theatre was a blast as well. Overall I would 100% book a stay here in the future and highly recommend it.

This is a beautiful peaceful location with a larger master bedroom and great bathrooms. The downstairs has a living room and kitchen so it's private -- like that it's separate from bathrooms. We have ZERO complaints and will highly recommend if anyone near Mystic. PERFECT spot for visiting the area and/or students at Conn College

I am so happy we found Carie's place! We are a band on tour right now and had such a relaxing time. Hot tub was perfect. Kitchen had everything we needed for a home cooked meal. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Easy check-in/check-out. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Eileen's beautiful waterfront home. The view from the living room and primary bedroom of the water was so peaceful. The kitchen was well appointed and the cozy living room made for a wonderful family gathering spot when we weren't dining out at the fabulous nearby restaurants, visiting wineries, or viewing local scenery. Eileen was incredibly responsive to small questions we had. We would definitely book again!!

Laurie was an amazing host, very responsive! We wanted to bring our dog with us for the weekend and the fenced in yard added to the great experience! The place is much larger than the photos with plenty of living room space for the family. The kitchen was well equipped, with everything needed! We appreciated her hospitality and friendliness and would definitely stay again!

Sandra’s place was great for our family get together, ages ranging from 1 to 80. Lots of living space and open. Great front porch and backyard is beautiful., perfect for sitting out by the fire pit at night. The table easily accommodates up to 12. No worries running out of dishes or glassware. The house is tastefully decorated, comfortable. The water view is a plus and the area is very walkable with proximity to beaches. Highly recommended!

Staying at Daniela’s place was great! Super easy to find and get into the peaceful house on the pond. Even though it was pet friendly, the house was spotless and had no wear or tear from previous visitors. It was great that they had child gates at stairs too! The dog loved going out in the canoe and swimming in the pond! Great place overall!

This was the ideal location for my husband and me to spend the holidays with our family who live across the lake. Will and John gave us a warm, friendly welcome and Quinn also checked in to make sure we settled in and had everything needed for a comfy cozy stay. It was easy to communicate with everyone and the location felt peaceful and private but not isolated. I can't imagine a more ideal experience and cannot thank Quinn enough for making this stay the best ever we've had with Airbnb!

Truly a gem! House was better than described. Perfect for our family weekend. Close to Mohegan Sun for activities but far from the bustle. Love the decor and the thoughtful touches. Lots of space for everyone to spread out. Would rebook if we are returning to the area.

Our 2 day stay at the cottage was just what we’d hoped for our wedding weekend! Annalisa was so responsive and accommodating. A wonderful host, such wonderful hospitality and an amazingly stunning private retreat! Would definitely return!

My sister, dog and I stayed at the cottage for the weekend and had a great experience! Erika is a wonderful host and the property is beautiful. The cottage itself was exactly as pictured. Breakfast in the inn, cooked with natural and organic ingredients, is an absolute must. The location of the inn is great as well, with direct access to the Lantern Hill trail (which our dog loved) and only a short drive from downtown. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Cute and cozy home with lovely outdoor sitting area. Woke up to the sounds of the breeze and chirping birds! You can see the water from out the kitchen windows!

Nice little spot with boats on the pond. Went there for my son’s Wesleyan graduation and could take family out on the kayaks.

Clean and cozy cabin. Close to Mystic without being right in the thick of it. We enjoyed a night by the fire with a friendly local fisherman. It worked nicely for our short trip to the area.

Paul was a wonderful host! He was great with communication, proactive, and accommodating. The cabin was beautiful and awesome location right on the marina. We would highly recommend to our family and friends!

Marilyn’s place was great! Very peaceful. Lake access was awesome. Warm neighborhood. The kitchen was a bit tricky to navigate, but Marilyn had detailed instructions. We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend Marilyn’s place.

This was a weekend getaway for our anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised with the quiet and peaceful surroundings. Everything is exactly like the pictures. The neighbors had a large party and we did not hear a thing inside the cabin! It rained most of the days but we were very comfortable. If you love nature, you will love this place. Bring your hiking boots and your binoculars for bird watching. There are several ponds nearby for fishing and you may consider visiting the local wineries. Hope to come back again!

Had a great time in this peaceful wonderful setting. Saw and heard maybe 40 bird species. (Using Merlin app). Frogs and turtles too!everything we needed! Beds are very comfortable!

This cabin was a wonderfully cozy stay for my group. One thing to note is the cabin is on a shared property with other buildings, including the sauna. The lake was beautiful and the Finnish Sauna next to the lake was a very unique touch that I'm glad we got to experience. Angela was a great host and provided clear communication on how to get to the cabin and check in/out. The cabin was compact but had all the bedding fit into it and even a bench inside. The fridge, microwave, and stovetop were all welcome additions to the cabin as well and we never had an issue with electricity. Definitely check this place out if the amenities interest you and you are passing through Connecticut.

This house was fantastic! It had absolutely everything we could possibly need. This is actually my first time in all my air bnb stays that I have no suggestions on what more could be provided. Each little thing that I could use was already at my disposal. The house was immaculate and mere steps away from the beach.

We spent a long weekend at Dennis’ place and it was nothing short of amazing. Our aim was to relax and enjoy the lake, and we did just that. The house was exactly as described, matched and exceeded our expectations; furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. If we’re back in CT, we won’t hesitate to book the house again!
