Our house is located between Haren (Gn) and Glimmen on a quiet road. From the house, you can walk and cycle in all directions: Stromdal Drentse Aa, Appelbergen, the Onlanden, Haren, the Noordlaarder bos, the Paterswoldse and Zuidlaarder lake and of course the city of Groningen. Our spacious backyard overlooks a meadow, there are regular roe deer to be seen, as well as squirrels and even a fox. PLEASE NOTE: When booking, please indicate in the Airbnb app whether breakfast (€15.00pp) is desired.

Right in the center of Winsum , according to the ANWB the most beautiful village in the Netherlands, is our B&B De creaking wagons. In the back of our garden, 2 converted gypsy wagons and 2 wagons are available as accommodation. They can be booked both separately and together. We converted the creaking wagons ourselves into B&B. So don't expect a top finish, but all the amenities are there. We serve an extensive breakfast to our guests in the morning with enough to make another packed lunch.

The Scheperij room

Landgoedboerderij Oosterheerdt has a Bed & Breakfast, where you can stay for a short or longer period of time. The two comfortable rooms with private sanitary facilities are located in the monumental front house of the characteristic farm. In addition to the two rooms, there is a dining room available to guests, where they can meet each other. From the B&B, you can easily enter the Nienoord estate. Pets are allowed, and bringing a horse is negotiable. Dogs on a leash.

The cozy room has a double bed and faces south. Breakfast can be booked for €12,-. Please let me know when you make your reservation. Easy to reach by car and public transport. Booking does not include tourist tax of €4,- pppn. Please pay this upon arrival.

This is the master bedroom of our characteristic building. A large bright room with beautiful views and light from two sides. There is a sitting area, large table, coffee and tea facilities, TV, reading lights by the bed and sofa. You share the bathroom, as well as the separate toilet, with any guests from the other rooms. The rooms are located on the first floor. You have to be able to walk well, the stairs have no handrail.

Characteristic is the ‘smûke’ scenery with thousands of miles of elzensingels, dykswâlen (wood ramparts) and hundreds of pingos and pools. The area has unique flora and fauna. The biodiversity here is great. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the Ydillian Wadden Islands.

Welcome to Gruunlaand, our resting place, house and guesthouse with almost 3000m2 of land. In our barn we offer four bedrooms with 3 comfortable double beds and 2 single beds. There are four separate toilets, three bathrooms with shower, a kitchen with all the necessary appliances, and a living space that you can use to work, read and relax.

"Straw Suite" at Willrathshof

Sleeping in the "straw suite" means moving into a rustic room in the converted cowshed. You sleep on loose straw in your own sleeping bag. We have five suites in different sizes for 2-3 people or up to 6 people. In the morning, a great breakfast buffet (incl.) awaits you to start the day strengthened.
