We had a wonderful stay at The Cottage. The space was comfortable with homely amenities. The morning view of the ocean and the sunrise was special. We had dolphin sightings on both days that we stayed. We also spotted beautiful birds. We would definitely come back again. Thank you Bev - you have a special spot and your attention to detail made the cottage extra comfortable.

A great space for a weekend rest. The apartment had lots of pleasant touches. The balcony overlooking a lush sprawling landscape was a big plus.

We had an absolutely wonderful three days in Kathy’s place. The photos don’t do the place justice. The views are incredible… we chose staying in and enjoying the views over eating out. The beds and furniture are so comfortable and the place is beautifully decorated. Everything was clean and Kathy was so responsive and easy to communicate with. We loved the peace we felt in her home and will undoubtedly be back soon. Highly highly recommend!!

What an exquisite home. Incredible location - the views were exceptional, the staff Buhle and Chris were amazing and the home itself just gorgeous. We had everything we needed and our favourite place was the little sun-bathing patio over the beach. One of the most beautiful homes we have ever stayed in - we will definitely be back

Great open plan & spacious home! The master bedroom particularly stands out! The estate is great with a variety of places to eat and explore. Appreciated the facilities as we had a toddler so this made life a lot easier.

Douglas our host is fabulous, always a message away alongside Thulani our caretaker who lives on site while maintaining privacy for us guests. The facilities are more than perfect for us three adults and we slept like babies. Book the house and you will be blown away. Thank you for having us, we will come back again.

My family and I were so struck by the beautiful home that Mark and his family have created. It oozed luxury and decadence. The spaces are huge and filled with such beautiful stuff. What a beautiful spot! From the moment you arrive you feel as though you can exhale. Stunning place, beautiful furniture linen and every amenity. Special touches like great coffee, milk in the fridge and just all round welcoming space. Oh but the views of the ocean!! Wow! Literally a few steps away with direct beach access and access to the promenade with its host of beautiful restaurants and close proximity to shopping etc. You can’t get better value for money in such a beautiful space and location than this spot in Umhlanga! Oh and the host was the cherry on top. Warm, helpful, responsive. I will be booking again! That’s for sure. 🔥🔥🔥

Paola's nest was incredible! We did a last minute booking and she instantly confirmed. When we got there we felt like we didn't want to leave as it was only for a night. The space was clean, quiet, with a beautiful view and close to the restaurants, beach walks and nature reserve. Loved the bathtub!

I HIGHLY recommend this venue. It is perfect for a small family trip. The unit is spacious, fully equipped, and even has a washer/dryer. It is just steps from the beach/boardwalk, and the host provides helpful items like beach towels and beach chairs. Just note that it’s on the top floor of the building, so pack accordingly since you’ll need to carry your bags. Loren is an excellent host, fully responsive, and so very helpful. There are multiple beachside restaurants less than a 5 minute walk from the building, and lots of rock pools and safe swimming areas along the beach. If you are looking to stay in Ballito, this is the place.
