A very cosy, comfortable cottage with well considered, stylish touches that made it a thoroughly delightful place to stay. The beds were very comfortable, with thick toppers, plentiful pillows and luxurious bedding. There was plenty of hot water, and a good shower. Susan was welcoming and proactively helpful - both in providing additional cookware for a particular recipe I wanted to make, and in sourcing a new firestick for the TV so we could access Netflix. All in all, a lovely and peaceful haven for our mini-break in Scotland.

What an amazing cottage with everything you need , kids loved the peacocks wondering about the garden. Had great fun in the garden playing tennis. Little one enjoyed playing in the outdoor play house. Some lovely walks down to the river.

Just home from a few days at The Firze and we had a fantastic, chilled out time as a family of 7 with 2 dogs. House is beautiful, spacious, clean, super comfy beds and well kitted out, a home from home. The surroundings are so peaceful with gorgeous views from the garden which we also enjoyed while sitting relaxing in the hot tub which was a huge hit with our 3 teens! Lovely walk nearby with the dogs and 3 of us took a tour around the local distillery which was really good. Would highly recommend and would def book again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had an amazing stay at this spacious home with a group of 11 people. The house was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for a large group. The outdoor hot tub and sitting area were definite highlights—great for relaxing in the evenings. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the common areas made it easy to cook, eat, and hang out together. The host was responsive and helpful, and the location was peaceful yet convenient. Highly recommend for group getaways!

The property was even better than the pictures! We loved our stay and the amenities were great especially enjoyed the chipping range and the fire pit ! We had a great time and would recommend. The only issue was slow response rates leaving us a bit confused and worried but apart from that an amazing experience.

This Airbnb exceeded our expectations—the pictures don’t do it justice. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views in every direction. Rhona was exceptional, providing thoughtful touches and attention to detail that truly made our stay feel five-star. Communication was prompt and the directions provided made finding the property effortless. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Beautiful home. Incredibly spacious kitchen. Comfortable linens. And the pictures do not do the place justice -- lots of room for a our group of four golfers. And the hot tub was perfect after a day at the links!

Twiga Cottage was a great location for our stay in Carnoustie. Within walking distance from the town’s amenities and located in a beautiful coastal setting the cottage was perfect for a 2 person stay. The cottage had everything required in terms of kitchen equipment, appliances etc and came with bedding and towels provided. Our host Wilma made us feel very welcome and was able to provide much appreciated local knowledge. Communication from booking process to arrival was excellent. Yes there is a railway line at the back of the property but in all honesty the train noise was not an issue and did not detract from our stay. We’d highly recommend a stay at Twiga Cottage

This was our second stay at the Lodge and everything was as good the second time around. A lovely setting, with views across to the sea, loads of space inside the property (which is very comfortable and well-presented) and great facilities too. It offers peace and quiet but is also just a short walk or drive from Carnoustie with its beach, shops, restaurants and (if you are travelling with kids) a great adventure playground. Brian and Matt were great hosts (again). We hope to be back again before long!

lovely place. really comfortable. right on the waterfront. close to shops and trainstation, to get into the city centre. 2 minutes along the road from the sand beach and broughty castle. would definitely recommend! will hopefully be rebooking another trip up in the future 😁

Wilma and John's house is brilliant! The house is much bigger than the pictures show. The location so close to the beach is fabulous and the view out of the living room and double bedroom windows is gorgeous. We spent much time watching the sea and trying to spot the Bellrock lighthouse. Was very sorry to leave and will definitely be looking to stay again. Thank you Wilma and John :)

We had a lovely two night stay - easy to find, clean cottage, wonderful grounds to explore, lots of great tips from Andrew in terms of things to look out for in the grounds, loved finding the wishing well! The cocker spaniel puppy was a lovely surprise bonus!

10/10 Stay! We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Sir Stuart’s house. Everything was perfect from start to finish—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable for the whole family. The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, going above and beyond by giving us a personal tour of Fingask, which was a real highlight of the trip. We all loved it so much that we’re already looking at dates to return once the weather warms up. Highly recommend!
