Cosy, comfortable cottage, quiet area by the sea,overlooking saula peir. Breathtaking views of Curran mountains.There is a small town called Achill Sound approx 4km away,where there is shops, cafe, supermarkets, 2 pubs, 2 hotels and bike hire. There are other great places to eat approx 12-15km away. Our Cottage is close to the greenway where you can walk or cycle. There is fantastic views along the Atlantic drive from. Clough more to Dooega, where you can see the Atlantic ocean for miles.

This place is absolutely incredible. Cozy but with expansive views. Private but near town and within walking distance of a great pizza spot. I can’t imagine choosing to stay anywhere else on Achill Island.

We had an amazing time at Marlene’s apartment I would highly recommend it.

We loved Lorraine's cottage. It's in beautiful surroundings and very comfortable and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped with a new oven and induction hob. There's a nespresso and lots of pods, along with all the cooking and food prep equipment we needed to cook as we would at home. The living room is great with a cosy fireplace. The nearest beach is walkable and great for swimming. Lorraine was a great host - responsive, friendly and gave us lots of useful tips and info. Thank you Lorraine!

Amazing views, absolutely stunning house and superb hosts. What more could we ask for. Simply the best house we have ever stayed in. Crisp and clean, all mod cons, views to die for out of every window, private but yet close enough to Teds and Lynotts where we would walk most evenings for our dinner. Amazing responsive hosts who were available from beginning to end with their genuine Irish warmth and charm. We loved this break so much that we were upset the night before not wanting to leave the house - we shall be back again and will be booking for next year. Thank you thank you thank you.....

Imelda is a super friendly and amenable host, we arrived quite late but Imelda was absolutely great about it and was able to give us helpful advice on where to eat prior to arriving. Would highly recommend and would be very happy to stay again if ever in this part of the world again.

What a magical spot! We didn’t want to leave. That view is so amazing, I couldn’t stop taking pictures and videos of the sea and beautiful landscape. The house is so modern and has everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable and the entire place was squeaky clean. Michelle was so thoughtful to leave us a welcome basket with so many goodies, treats, bread, milk and butter. She was easy to contact if we had any questions and so very pleasant to communicate with. Thank you so much for hosting us! We will come back again in the future for sure. ☺️

Fantastic Location in the heart of Achill with everything you could want a stroll away. Lovely setting in a specular part of the world, the kids loved it here.

We stayed at this lovely bungalow in Blacksod for 3 nights in May. The house was just perfect: spotlessly clean, exactly as described, linens and towels provided, lovely gardens with direct access to the beach across the road. The location is ideal for exploring Blacksod and the Mullet Peninsula - if you haven’t been to this part of Ireland before I’d highly recommend the house as a base to explore the amazing beaches and landscapes nearby and for the peace and quiet. Una’s bar is a few minutes stroll away, an ideal spot for a pint after a day exploring. I’ll definitely be back.
