House vacation rentals in Duck

This was such a wonderful experience! The house was beautiful and spacious, and the host is so generous and thoughtful 😊 so thankful for all accommodations and a very helpful/resourceful host. There's a reason why this place stays booked!! If you're looking for a special vacation, this is the one! I'd love to come back next year ❤️

The Dreamcatcher was a very nice stay. The home is in a peaceful neighborhood, less than a 5 minute walk to the beach with easy access at the end of the road. The house had everything we needed. The pool was a big plus. The home is a 2-3 minute drive to dining and shopping. Maybe our best Outer Banks vacation yet.

What a wonderful experience! Beach Daze has it all! You are only about a 2 minute walk to the beach and the house has every beach item you may need… Chairs, beach toys, umbrellas, and more! You also have your own private pool and hot tub which also has so many toys and floaties there for you and the kids to enjoy. Overall the house was clean, inviting, and so comfortable! We’ve stayed here twice now and will do so again in the future! Love beach daze!

Great setup, with the pool & hot tub, bikes, cornhole boards, ping pong, etc. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and glassware. Checkout was also very easy… not a huge list of chores like some other places. I’d definitely recommend it if your looking for a place to stay in Nags Head.

Every penny spent at this magical place was worth it. Second time back and we made more memories!

These people are wonderful people me and my friend had an amazing time staying at there place! The place is exactly like what you see in the pictures. You will have there downstairs room to there house they will be staying in while you are there. It’s very nice that you have a walkway with access to the backyard gate which is where you’ll find your sliding glass door to your room and bathroom. You also have access to the beach bikes and the canoe which is really nice. Me and my friend brought our Blackstone down and cooked with Brad aka Sammy Hagar , lots of cool stories were shared. I had an amazing stay and I would definitely go back in the future. These people are wonderful host and the have all the suggestions of what to do , where to go

This place was exactly what we were looking for. The house provided great amenities and we were able to relax and get some work done at the same time. It was quiet and relaxing with a pool and sauna, which we did get much use out of. It was just a short drive to the beaches which made for a nice day trip. Highly recommend.

Great place. For its size and value, it literally has a ton of great features . The theatre room is amazing, especially with having kids. Has a beach volleyball court! The arcade has thousands of games and brought me back 25 years (Pac-Man, Mario, Galaga, Street Fighter, and 1,000’s more). We went when it typically would not be considered swimming weather, however, we had the option to have the pool heated at least a day or so before arriving and it made a huge difference and allowed for my girls and I to swim in early April (and I did jump in the ocean to compare and it was a 25-30 degree difference! Lol). The owner is very quick to respond, has the instructions available prior to arrival, recommendations for food, churches, , and activities. If you don’t mind a 3-5 minute stroll to the beach, it is honestly not that far away. Walmart, Target, Grocery stores, putt putt, dunes, Wings, fishing pier, are very close by. The aquarium was a 20 min drive but was worth it. Fun experience.

We all felt very at home, the house is gorgeous and the beach is right there. We each had our own room and bathroom. Carrie was always quick to respond to our questions. We definitely want to go back there if possible next year and use her house again. None of us wanted to leave. We even saw dolphins from her deck, it was amazing. Thank you Carrie for everything!!!

We had a great time. Easy walk to the beach and comfortable home. Loved the restaurant nearby but it was still quiet in the house. It was a great experice and we'd love to come back next year.

Beautiful house and great location! The house had everything we needed, awesome water pressure- even in the outdoor shower. Hot tub and surrounding area were great when it rained/after the beach. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We had a very nice time!

This bungalow in the heart of Duck, NC is the perfect place for a family visiting the Outer Banks. Less than half a mile in one direction is the beautiful Atlantic shore; the same distance in the other direction takes you to town, with dozens of local shops (Scarborough Faire—Island Bookstore, galleries, boutiques), recreational rental gear places (Ocean Atlantic Rentals for beach wagon and extra boogie boards, Duck Village Outfitters for kayaks and lots of friendly advice from owner Bob) and delicious restaurants (Tullio Bakery, Duck Donuts, Treehouse Coffee and Cafe, NC Coast, Roadside Bar and Grill, Red Sky, Village Table & Tavern). The house is a cozy, well-preserved mid-century bungalow. Warm woods, bright windows & sky lights make you feel like you’re in a treehouse. The house comes with a well stocked kitchen, plenty of extra beach towels, and beach chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards for your use. We had the best time here with our 4 young children and can’t wait to return!

This was our second time staying at Kelly's beach house with our family, and we loved it! The location is great: close enough to the shops and restaurants in Duck that you can pop out for dinner or shopping, but the neighborhood itself is very quiet and peaceful. You're only a few houses from the beach, so it's easy to pop down there for a beach day and even come back to the house for lunch or naps. Kelly provides a lot of the necessary items if you have little ones, like a crib, high chair, baby gates, and plates/utensils. The kitchen is super well-stocked if you like to cook, and the house feels incredibly comfortable, homey, and welcoming. We had such a relaxing stay and would love to come back again!

My family stayed 8 nights. Regardless of the time of day or night, the views were breathtaking and so special. The sky and the cloud formations were spectacular. The house layout was thoughtfully done. The tote with extra toilet paper, papertowel, Kleenex, laundry detergent, and garbage bags were a godsend. They provided everything you needed extra beach chairs, 2 large beach umbrellas, boogie boards, a beach cooler etc. The selection of books were a true reader's paradise. The house is located very conveniently to stores, restaurants and the beach! You can run into the house and come back in just a few steps! This house has to be the best house we have stayed in OBX for over 10 years.

This was a great little place on the beach for my family. We loved the convenience of being able to go right out back to the beach whenever we wanted to and not having to pack a vehicle for the trip. The house is cozy and had all the amenities we needed( we don’t cook much). The host was very responsive and we appreciated being able to check in early. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Even more beautiful in person! We loved the location in close proximity to the beach and also a hand full of restaurants. Would rent again!

We had a wonderful time. The house is well equipped. We felt part of the Duck community. We definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great OBX experience (just not on our dates🙂)!

The decor is beautiful and the furnishings are comfortable! The trees help to keep the property private and peaceful. The pool area is perfect for the “kids” (young adults) to play kan jam and cornhole while the rest of us could relax in and by the pool. The walk to the beach was closer than we thought which kept our pups excited to take morning and evening walks. Our stay was fantastic! Thank you, Sojourn!!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We needed a quick getaway together to the Outer Banks and this was perfect for us. My wife and I have two boys 11 and 14 and a dog. The boys loved the downstairs entertainment with the arcade games, pin ball, and Xbox. I was able to show them some video games from my youth I had forgotten about from 30 years ago. The TV and audio set ups were great. Beach access is great- the neighborhood has their own private parking at the beach so while the house isn’t on the beach you can hop in the car and have a reserved spot 3 min away at the beach. Then you can return to the shaded private house with a big dog friendly back yard. Very dog friendly. We typically don’t bring our dog along and use a local dog sitter but took advantage of how welcoming they are to dogs and brought him along and the backyard was huge and completely fenced in. The backyard fire pit was perfect for smores on a relatively cooler evening.

We had a Wonderful stay at Beach Dream Inn, couldn't ask for a more cozy, very well equipped home. There wasn't anything that Amber didn't have available to use to prepare meals. There was even cleaning products to use to tidy up. The swimming pool was also an added perk, so nice to have privacy with the fence all around the pool. We have a small dog that enjoyed her first trip to the beach. Especially being with us while sitting by the pool. We were also lucky to see deer in the morning and evening. Amber's home is very close to restaurants, shopping and grocery stores Harris Teeter and Food Lion. The beach is a short easy walk too. We are very glad we found this lovely home at the Outer Banks. And to have a host as accommodating and kind as Amber. Will definitely be back again!

Absolutely loved our stay! The house is so close to the beach and in a very quiet neighborhood. The outdoor shower is an amazing amenity to keep the sand out of the house and clean the entirety of your stay! The host was super friendly and made sure we all made it and that everything was to our standards. We will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful spot! Very nice place to stay. Our family trip was extremely relaxing and all of us had an excellent time!

There’s so much to say about The Coop. If you’re lucky enough to be reading this for dates that work for your trip, we HIGHLY endorse booking asap. Katherine went absolutely above and beyond in making you feel at home at the Coop, and everything is so well thought out and prepared. The location is perfect, the house itself is among the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at, and the outdoor shower is such an awesome bonus after coming back from the beach. All the details are very well thought out and done with love and care. We will absolutely be return visitors, so be sure to book this stay if you can!!

Beautiful location for a family vacation! The beach was walking distance and the town was also walking distance. This was my first trip to obx and I lucked out on securing this rental. The layout was perfect for 8 people and the pool and hot tub made for fun nights at home. Can’t wait to come back next year!
