The hosts went above and beyond to support our family during one of the most exciting and emotional times in our lives—the arrival of our child through adoption. With so many unknowns in our journey, they moved mountains to accommodate us, ensuring we had a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay, even with our shifting timelines and unique requests. The home itself is absolutely stunning—everything is brand new, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was such a treat. From the thoughtful design to the cozy atmosphere, every detail made our stay feel effortless and peaceful. We are already dreaming of returning in the summer to soak in the lake vibes and energy of Nettle Lake. We are beyond grateful for this experience and for the kindness and generosity of our hosts. Very nice, quiet lake location. Everything was provided, a lot of little touches made it less for us to think about. The hosts were always quick to respond. Definitely recommend.

Loved this house! We had 8 girls. The beds were comfy, the house was stocked very well. I came over prepared with seasonings, garbage bags, and a lot of the basics.. and Paul had it all! Had plenty of towels & beach towels…The only thing we couldn’t find was a cutting board… quick Meijer trip! We LOVED THE HOUSE! interior was beautiful, a little dusty and bathroom downstairs needed a little cleaning but it was a 20 minute clean. I’m also very neat freak in that way and just did a cleaning when we got there. The property was beautiful, well stocked with firewood, was able to park 4 cars nicely. The sand down by the water was super soft. The upper deck (needed to wear shoes d/t a girl getting a splinter) the lower deck was Trex Deck & very nice. Hot tub was awesome. Overall, a wonderful experience & we all want to make it a yearly tradition coming back. Neighbors were nice and we were greeted by the friendly dog of a nearby neighbor. Our girls weekend at the Hickory Island Cottage was perfection. When we entered the cottage we found adorable “girls weekend” bags with goodies for each guest and a basket full of snacks and bubbles and things for the kiddos. The cottage was incredibly clean, every space was tended to including the bathrooms and bedrooms. I actually have never stayed in such a clean Airbnb. We enjoyed the beautiful backyard that had a fire pit and a hammock. We spent two afternoons at the nearby lake Lansing park which has a beach and a lovely playground. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were super friendly. My sisters and our kiddos had a memorable visit. Thank you so much Julie!

Communication was seamless from start to finish, and Jacob went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The neighborhood was conveniently located for our job site and when we had to extend he did everything to accommodated to our needs! Amazing place! Even better than expected! Although it says no AC, they have a little AC unit next to the couch and it makes the whole place so cool! We brought fans and didn't even need to use them. The view was absolutely beautiful. The sunsets on the water were truly breathtaking. I also wanted to mention how I love that we were able to spend it with our puppy, kind of rare to find a nice waterfront like this that allows animals! We will definitely be back next summer.

We enjoyed our week-long stay! The house was cozy and peaceful and great for kids. We appreciated all the toys since we had a 1 year old with us! The house had everything we needed and more! We would recommend this place!!

We had a great stay with the house being well stocked in the kitchen and the shower being one of the nicest I have seen, would definitely stay here again. Great location if you are going to the nascar race and the lake was beautiful!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was easy to find and clean. The dishes and cookware were not. Wish the boat could be rented for shorter period too. Overall our experience was good.

It was another magical stay at the Point. Beautiful, private, serene setting, even during a busy time on the lake. The house was as immaculately clean and comfortable as it has been on our previous visits. We're tall -- both six feet -- and the slanted ceiling in the kitchen/bathroom (mentioned in another review) has never been a concern. Loren is the best host I've worked with on Airbnb, offering clear instructions and quick communication.

The Waterloo Cottage is quaint and cozy. The lake views and the shade trees are an extra bonus. The beds and linens made the stay even better. Paul and Renee are excellent hosts and were easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this cottage for a lake side stay!

This lakefront cottage is wonderful for relaxing. Completely peaceful, cozy, and quiet! The dock is a perfect place to watch the sunset and the three season room has tremendous lake views. We really enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast in the three season porch/room. Our host (Brad) was super responsive with communications and very helpful with recommendations.

We loved this property! It was perfect for us. I’ve stayed in a lot of rentals and this was the cleanest property I have ever stayed in. Immaculate!! Kyle’s attention to detail was outstanding- From the welcome info, to checking in, and making sure we had the best stay. I am already planning another trip back! The grounds and view are awesome and we caught 34 fish! 5 Stars all the way around!! Thank you for an unforgettable stay, Kyle. We can’t wait to come back!!
