Super prime location and friendly hosts! Family owned business. Shared small space, so expect interaction with other guests. The owners came everyday to tidy and clean out other rooms so expect hosts to be present also! But they are lovely and warm and helpful.

Nina was so kind to stay outside and wait up for me after my bus was delayed til late evening. It can be a steep climb up to her place so be cautious if you’re older or have mobility issues or a lot of luggage! Ubers work in Croatia and was able to call those with no issue. I also love walking and the walk to the old town was about 23 minutes, not bad at all if you also enjoy walking. The room was neat and free of clutter and the bathroom was nice! Great shower but have to hold the handheld shower head as there’s nowhere to attach to the wall. Lovely room and Nina was so kind and a great hostess! There’s construction outside also but did not bother me.

What a wonderful place and what a wonderful host !! Vera was amazing and kind with us, we loved take some rest at her accommodation and we are very greatfull to meet her :) I recommend !!

I highly recommend staying as a family at Villa Dube! We stayed a family of four (parents and two kids aged 2 and 4) in the bungalow at Villa Dube for 5 days during July. It was a very pleasant stay. Anita had been quick and easy to communicate with throughout the whole planning period, and we were greeted and cared for during our stay very warmly by both Anita and her parents, who are most kind people. The bungalow was just perfect for us - small, but very practical with a carefully considered interior design and cosy. Outside, we had a terrace and the big shared garden with a play house, that our kids loved, some swings, and the small pool. The little village of Slano is just a 10-15 min. walk away with plenty of restaurants and multiple - mostly stoney - beaches. In the other direction of Villa Dube are nicer beaches that also offer some shadow under the trees. We recommend that you go on the Sunset Boat Tour lasting approx. 2 hours departing at 7.30 PM from the harbour of Slano - nice crew and views of the bay and sunset. The tour includes a drink. We combined our stay with a day-trip to Dubrovnik, and were happy that we - as a family with small kids - decided to have our base outside of Dubrovnik and visit it this way instead. Slano and Villa Dube constitute a very fine place to spend your vacation, both for staying for some laid-back days but also as a base for exploring the coast around Dubrovnik if you have a car.

Nice room with air-conditioning. Shared bathroom was always clean. Perfect location, just outside the city walls of Dubrovnik and next to bus stop.

This accommodation is a little paradise, Véra is a welcoming, caring person, filled with kindness. A great welcome. a great airbnb with everything you need, very good bedding, lovely small terrace, access to the garden which is a gem and the calm, the environment...in short...I recommend it without so much as a second thought.

We loved staying at Vanja's place - she not only was a great host, everything explained thoroughly, but also was happy to fulfill our additional request if possible (e.g. we needed a board and sharper knife for some fruit, and she managed to deliver those within and hour). She was also proactively checking with us if everything is going well, which was really appreciated. The room itself was great, bright, airy and comfortable. A bit too pink for our taste, but also made it cute 😅 The terraces were clean and both easily accessible, clear signage everywhere (either way you get a very detailed explanation for your arrival with pics!), and while it's true there is a lot of stairs on your way to city centre, we didn't mind them - why would you complain about additional exercise ☺️ And also really handy there is the little parking place in front of the top entrance, as we could be easily picked up by our Bolt driver taking us to the airport. Definitely recommend!

small apartment with everything you need. convenient location for visiting the island and beaches can also be reached on foot. Josip is a very nice and helpful host!
