Vacation rentals in Dripping Springs

My wife and I planned a last minute trip to Fredricksburg for the Memorial Day weekend. We were hoping to stay in Fredricksburg, but everything was booked. We found Terry's place in Johnson City which is about 45 minutes east of Fredricksburg. It is very private area out in the Ranchland Hill Country. First off, the place is immaculately clean! Second you know you found a really nice place when your wife starts taking pictures of everything because she loves the style and décor! The check in instructions were very clear and concise. The place was very welcoming and relaxing. Terry left a very detailed notebook with suggested places to go, things to do, and places to eat. In the morning and evenings we saw deer on the property. We also saw several cardinals and other beautiful bird species. If you are looking for a nice relaxing get away and don't want the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you!

We had a great stay at Hunter and Andrea’s place. The beds were comfy, the house was clean and very well furnished with dishes, linens and bathroom products. There was a lot to do in the local area and they had suggestions for recreation and places to eat and drink. They were also probably the most responsive hosts we’ve ever had. We would absolutely book there again.

We came to town for a friends wedding and stayed here for 2 nights. It was absolutely perfect! We felt at home from the moment we got there. The pool is FABULOUS and you can tell Kristen and Jeff truly take care of their home and property. The instruction book was very thorough and we knew exactly what was needed. We will absolutely be coming back to this home when we are in the area.

We loved our stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. James was a responsive and helpful host. We experienced a minor kitchen drain issue, but with it being a holiday weekend, he stayed in touch and we found an easy workaround—it didn’t impact our plans at all. We spent a relaxing weekend lounging by the pool and enjoying the beautiful space. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay again!

This was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway celebrating an event at Camp Lucy just across the road… Less than a mile drive (or walk) to wedding festivities yet this place was so quiet, private and peaceful! It is beautiful, well thought-out, you feel right at home — we truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

This is our 2nd time renting with Nicolette. Our experience as the last was great. It was easy to check in. The place is very accommodating. We were very happy.

Enjoyed a peaceful and quiet stay here. The interior is very nicely decorated with a big beautiful bedroom. The outside space is large and relaxing with deer walking around. Recommended if you want to detach for a few days.

This is a wonderful ranch like get a way and it was just what we were looking to find. We are so tired of motels/hotels, crowded towns and streets. It is nice to just get out away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. Birds, a deer, a turkey, and some wildflowers thrown in just added to the enjoyment . Resting on the patios in the evening looking at a dark sky full of stars was very relaxing. It is hard to describe the tranquility of the evenings we spent. It was an unexpected treat. So many sites close by to visit and see if you are inclined to do so. It was also nice that we were out away from it all and yet within a short distance of food, groceries and other amenities. Janet is the hostess with the Mostess. She was on top of everything! Super communications, super accommodations, and friends advice to help make our stay so enjoyable. OH, and sweet treats on our arrival that were very special! Thank you Janet!

Honestly I think it may be too soon for me to write a review… it’s only been a few hours since I left the place and I may be going through withdrawal. I absolutely LOVE the vibe of this place. So quiet… yet so close to some amazing hill country adventures. Really can’t think of a more perfect place to base camp or perhaps just to get some peace and quiet for a few days and get your creative juices flowing… write, compose, paint… whatever it is you do I am sure that you’d love doing it here. Thank you Kristin for curating such an amazing spot and making it available to us…

The ranch was amazing. The animals were free roaming and visited our cabin often. Our family had an absolute blast feeding and petting them. This was an amazing experience and we have already booked our return trip. Myra took us around the ranch to make sure we were able to see all of the animals up close. If you are an animal lover I highly recommend. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Close to town but very private area. Host was so friendly and responsive.

The place was amazing! Had 9 adults and it was very comfortable. The pool is perfect! Scott was awesome and made sure we had what we needed. Will definitely stay again if we ever make it back to dripping springs.

This place is in a beautiful area and unique guest house. Easy communication with host. Dog friendly with even a dog bowl when we came in. Only downfall is how small the patio/yard area is, although the upside is that it is fenced in. We were able to easily walk our dogs in the beautiful surrounding area.

Darien and Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure that my wife and I and our pup were extremely comfortable with our stay!

The place was perfect for us. There were 3 couples and 2 kids, so it was a good setup with the 4 bedrooms. The only change would be for another king size bed in one of the rooms, instead of a queen. And the fans in the bedrooms aren't very fast and don't move much air, but we found a box fan that saved the day! It really had everything we needed for a great stay. There were deer everywhere, which was very cool!!

The place was lovely. The hosts were great. We could not have had a more perfect place for our short weekend. The girls LOVED the chickens and finding eggs, petting the goats, and they fell in love with Elle and Sasha.

Me and my friends had a great time here and Allison was really helpful and responded quickly.

I spent a weekend at this place and really enjoyed it. It’s located at an excellent location close to Lake Travis and there is plenty to do! It has a nice yard and great views of the surrounding area. The bed is very easy to fold and convenient to put away to have more space during the day. Most importantly, Matt was very responsive and helpful in giving us the best experience possible!

We had a wonderful time at Mikes place in Driftwood. Peaceful snd private, but close to local restaurants and shopping. My kiddos loved the pool. We will definitely stay again!

Love this place! So peaceful and quiet. My kids loved the pool. The house was perfect. Close enough to town, clean, really big, everything you could need, and the cookies were delicious!
