Family-friendly vacation rentals in Downtown Seattle

Location, location, location! We enjoyed our time right at the lake with the kayaks and SUPs provided. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and we enjoyed the fantastic views!

Our first time staying in Kirkland during our visit to Seattle. It was great. It was quieter, easier to park, really quaint downtown with lots of eating options, and yet our drives all around Seattle weren’t that long. Laura’s house was great, just like the pics. Clean, easy to park, quiet, and the deck area is super nice. Cassita was nice and private. And Laura was an excellent host - proactive and always available for questions. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful place and location. Great view and features to enjoy indoors and outside. It was well prepared, and expectations/instructions were clear.

My wife and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary. Our stay at Lisa's place brought us great joy and wonderful memories. Our dog enjoyed the stay as much as we did!

This was our third time staying at Paula's place, and it feels like a second home. It is our first choice of place to stay when we travel to Seattle to visit our family, and I recommend it to all of our friends who are going there.

Stunning! We saw bald eagles flying right in front of us and Orcas swimming in the channel- all from the seaside deck and hot tub! The indoor space is just as pristine, very clean and nice- but the highlight is the outdoor area for sure. Not to mention the location made it very easy to explore the island and more. We highly recommend Kevin’s place for anyone staying on Bainbridge. Better yet, cancel your Seattle plans and stay here instead. Thank you Kevin!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was central to so many sights and places to visit. It felt safe and secure, tho we were unfamiliar with how the door lock worked initially. The space felt open and clean minus small things like baseboards and doors. I appreciated the coffee and very clean linens. The only thing that was slightly unexpected was that the listing said laundry was In unit. Which is technically true but you must contact the host to have her let you into the private utility area of the house to use it. Also, you can hear the family upstairs but they also do pass by a door that is connected to the living room. It was quiet but startled us the first time.

Marcell is a great host, friendly and communicative. Very helpful with local suggestions and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if the listing is available the next time I’m in Seattle.

This space was perfect for my little solo stay in Seattle! I didn’t realize that the Airbnb app had changed around where some things were since I had last use it, and James was extremely helpful with getting me the information I needed. I definitely recommend this space!

Jenn’s place was central to everything! So many sights were within walking distance. And Jenn had some great suggestions for where to go in the city.

Cathy & Caspar are great hosts! Their unit was as described. It is nice and clean. All of the essentials are there for you. Cathy & Caspar were responsive and had helpful suggestions for dining and transportation. Since the condo building is downtown, you can hear cars/sirens occasionally, so I would recommend a sound machine or ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The mattress of the queen size bed is rather firm, so keep that in mind depending on your mattress firmness preference. Overall, a great value and great hosts! Thank you Cathy & Caspar!

Nick has a perfect spot for a quick stay before a flight out of SeaTac. Easy peasy!

This place is so cozy! We got sick after our cruise and recovered at this little home. You have everything you need plus a great view. Super child friendly too!

A really lovely space in a nice neighborhood. Easy access to restaurants, groceries, and public transportation. Highly recommended.

I stayed for a month on a work trip and I couldn’t ask for a better space to both enjoy Seattle and get my work done. The desk set up was amazing and when I was done for the day I could take a beautiful, scenic walk and enjoy the fall foliage in the neighborhood. The spot is also a walkable distance from amazing restaurants and shops. I can’t say enough positive things about my stay!

The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

The place was perfect for our vacation stay in Seattle! Excellent central location for walking to the most commonly visited tourist spots. We took full advantage of the courtyard and gym. My son said he slept "way better" on the pull-out sofa than he did in our earlier hotel stay. The place was clean and comfortable. Being met and provided instructions at check-in was helpful and checkout was a breeze.

Ian's place was great. We enjoyed spending our evenings with family after the days adventure. The pool house and outside patio are amazing we all really enjoyed it. The house has anything you need and communication with Ian was prompt and easy. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Gayle was very quick to respond. Her condo is in a secure building. It was spotless. Great location - walkable to all attractions. She let us drop off our luggage prior to check in ( we were coming straight from Alaska Cruise). She called us as soon as the unit was clean and told us we could return. I would stay at Gayles Place again.

Second stay here, will continue to be my go to place when staying in Woodinville area.

I had a great stay! The room was very clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was excellent — it was quiet and comfortable throughout. The location is also super convenient, with easy access to both downtown Bellevue and Seattle, whether by car or ride-share. The only small issue was that the front door handle came off at one point, but fortunately it was resolved in the end. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back next time!
