Right in the heart of downtown Ottawa, walking distance to lots of good places. Clean place to stay and friendly staff. The mini kitchen was a huge bonus to have and very convenient

I really enjoyed my stay with Olivier and his family. They made me feel welcome and at home during my 3-month stay. Olivier was always responsive to my requests when supplies were running low, for any repairs, or if you needed to borrow something. If you are interested in any outdoor activities in the Ottawa area, he is your go-to person. The unit is very spacious, has a well-equipped kitchen, and a very large washroom. Despite it being a basement, it is well-lit, with several large windows letting in the daylight. The heated floors are a miracle in the winter. The location is absolutely fantastic. It is a short walk to two grocery stores, a library, the Rideau Centre, Byward Market, and the NAC. In addition to being very walkable, you have excellent connections to public transportation on buses and the LRT. If you are a student at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa, it is only a 10-minute walk to school, and you will have an abundance of reusable containers to bring your food home.

Michael and Diem are very personable hosts and were quite responsive whenever I had a question. The unit is as described and suited us nicely. We were particularly pleased with the large kitchen/dining area which allowed us to cook most of our meals. Still, when desired, there are lots of great eateries in the area. I also appreciated being able to park my vehicle off street. I would be more than happy to stay again should circumstance and availability coincide. :-)

Danielle was an exceptional host! We loved our 6-week stay right in the middle of Byward Market area, and the apartment exceeded our expectations. Really awesome communication about anything happening in the building. A really nice touch in form of a welcome basket ☺️ Would love to stay again!
