We LOVE this place! Super relaxing, perfect surroundings. The garden is fabulous, we made the most of the sunshine this weekend!

Really enjoyed our stay , the house is really cosy and clean with a lovely comfy bed and nice small lounge/ kitchen area with good TV set up. Coleen really helpful with suggestions of things to do and where to go. Easy access to the beach and places to eat and drink. Nice walk along the seafront to the harbour and town. Would definitely go back.

We have spent half term at Lisa’s place, the house is very spacious, located in quiet residential area, about 10 minutes walk from the train station and 25-30 from the town centre which was exactly what we wanted. Lovely large property for our group of 9, we love the gym and hot tub plus a basket of goodies on arrival was an unexpected touch. We had a great stay and was so lucky with the weather too, did lots of small trips with kids so train station nearly was very handy. Would definitely recommend it.

Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt und Marie Christine und Pierre sind ganz herzliche, wundervolle Gastgeber. Ich wünschte ich hätte mehr Französisch Kenntnisse :-) Aber dank der automatischen Übersetzung über Airbnb Nachrichten war es kein Problem sich zu verständigen. Einen Nachmittag haben wir auch im Garten verbracht und es war ein wundervoller Urlaub! Wir kommen sicher einmal wieder :-)

Location was fabulous. Great off road parking. Views amazing from balcony and lounge. Property needs some maintenance and updating.

Stephanie and Richard were great communicators. They quickly responded to any messages I left and were very kind and accommodating. They have an adorable, well kept home.

Absolutely loved this little house, everything you need for a stay away from home. Great location and the garden is a little sun trap. The bath is also amazing we will definitely stay here again.

Super séjour avec deux chiens et un enfant en bas âge. Le logement est hyper bien équipé pour les petits enfants : chaise haute, lit pliant, matelas et draps pour le lit pliant, deux énormes caisses de jouets, vaisselle en plastique, etc. Notre fils a également adoré faire le tour de la ferme et nourrir les animaux avec Adeline. De plus, nous avons eu un souci technique avec le lave-vaisselle le dernier soir et Adeline est directement venue nous aider. Elle est très disponible pour ses hôtes.

Logement très bien situé à proximité de la plage et du centre ville . Nous avons passé un très bon week-end en famille. Les ados (et les grands parents ) ont pu profiter de la piscine qui est très spacieuse et agréable . Le logement est très bien équipé et bien décoré . Nous avons pu également profiter de la terrasse extérieure et de son barbecue. Toute la famille était contente de son séjour de l accueil par Frédérique avec pleins de petites attentions très agréables et jusqu au départ où nous avons pu rester jusqu au dimanche après midi. Nous recommandons ce logement qui est idéal pour un week-end end en famille et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir .

We enjoyed a 3 day mini break at the Calf Shed cottage with our 2 children and dog. The cottage itself was nice with open plan kitchen and comfy seating area, and a private garden area which was great for the kids and dog. A big bonus was the heated pool with stunning views. The weather was not great but the heated pool meant we could still use it, which is a short walk from the cottage. The kids also enjoyed the trampoline and table tennis. The main barn was not rented during our stay which meant we had sole use of the pool and play equipment. There was no welcome pack/booklet however the host Alison was quick to respond to questions (wifi password, bin locations, etc). Other comments is the double bed was actually 2 single beds which the kids commandeered and signs of wear and tear here and there. However overall a pleasant trip.

A really unique place in lovely grounds. As a family with young children the facilities made the stay for us. The Wing itself is nice full of character in terms of the architecture and decor. The place was clean, comfortable beds, kitchen had the essentials. Only thing I’d say is the bathroom and kitchen could do with a simple modernisation but really nothing to worry about, everything worked fine. The family say they would return so that’s the ultimate verdict.

We had a lovely week in Plantagenet and really cannot recommend it enough; the cottage really exceeded our expectations. The garden is phenomenal. It was a private and tranquil escape and our collie thoroughly enjoyed doing laps of the large garden despite the rainy weather. We loved it from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave. The cottage is well equipped, has a great cosy ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor game options no matter what the weather. The communication with Tim&Maite was friendly and responsive, we particularly appreciated the slightly late check out. We are hoping to book again soon with more of our family joining us.

Safe to say was an amazing stay and couldnt have picked a better place to stay. Great cottage and to have a swimming pool as well topped it all off. Would highly recommend to anybody.

We were very impressed on arrival. Lovely peaceful grounds, pool bigger than we’d expected and great games area. Good place to stay with our extended family, good central location, really enjoyed nearby Canterbury. We were lucky with the weather. We visited Howletts zoo & 2 different sea-sides. The house is quite warm, it’s great fans are provided in all bedrooms. Improvements- Need better extraction for the kitchen- & update the book on what to do if the smoke alarm goes off! The agency were quick to help but with poor phone signal this was tricky to arrange. Bigger beds/ new mattresses Downstairs loo had no toilet lid Other reviews mentioned cobwebs & the place seeming a bit ‘tired’, I’d agree with some of that but it didn’t stop us having a wonderful time & a few cobwebs don’t bother me, everything else was clean and we’d love to return .

The few days that we spent at The Stables were fabulous. A very charming place. A yummy cake was waiting for us on the table when we arrived. Ideal. Our 4-year old loved the place, his upstairs bedroom and the many games/toys (for any age really)! In a nutshell, don’t hesitate, with the sandy beach literally 15 minutes away, this is the perfect spot! Thanks again Sally for all :)

Wir wurden von der Mama von Stephane herzlich empfangen. Stephane kam uns etwas später begrüßen. Im Haus ist alles was man braucht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Stephane ist ein toller und sehr netter Gastgeber. Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub und kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

Sue was terrific. She could not have been more accommodating when our party of 3 became 4 (to include a young grandson) and she provided us with cereals and goodies for him and a bed guard rail. Her lovely apartment is beautiful, light, airy and comfortably furnished with excellent quality appliances and fixtures/fittings. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. A superbly designed and appointed apartment. Thank you Sue. Our stay was short but perfect.

Albion House was the perfect venue for our 3 generation gathering. 6 adults, 1 toddler & 2 dogs were perfectly at home with plenty of space. The location is perfect, right on the beach with easy parking & a selection of good eateries just around the corner. We would highly recommend Loaf for breakfast, Docker Bar for a fine range of local craft beer & Fat Raj for a top quality & fresh curry. The only problem was our stay was too short. Nick is very quick to respond & was extremely helpful with regard to flexible arrival & departure. Th

We had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend stay at Jennifer’s place with our 11 & 8 year old children. Perfectly equidistant between Sissinghurst & Great Dixter. The house is so cute and had everything we needed. It’s down a lovely quiet road and was so peaceful and overlooked trees and fields. We also had dinner in the local pub (Bell) which was lovely.

Beautiful location practically on the beach. Enormous field immediately outside which was wonderful for our 2 greyhounds. Friendly, helpful hostess and family. A good space to stay for 2 adults and 2 big dogs. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing break.

The place is absolutely wonderful. It has all the amenities you wish for. A great outdoor space to have breakfast, lunch or dinner during the summertime. We felt right at home at this peaceful rural retreat. And Hillary is easy to communicate with.
