Felt right at home immediately as we walked in the door! The view from the living room, and the porch was unbelievable even when it was storming outside. Definitely Recommend as a getaway.

Shafiq’s place was just what I needed while I was in Birmingham on a clinical rotation. The space was beautiful, well decorated, and I can tell they put effort into thinking of everything you could need. Shafiq was extremely helpful with navigating any issues I had while I was there. He was extremely proactive, responsive, and ensured my comfort was prioritized. The stay is very conveniently located near downtown Birmingham - with so much to explore in the city! If ever in the area again I would stay at Shafiq’s place, no doubt!

My 90-year-old father and I stayed at Andy’s place for a night on our way to visit family. We were so impressed with this space! First off, the space is huge and could easily accommodate 6 or 8 people, possibly more. I can’t remember how many they recommend it for. (I booked last minute and needed 2 bedrooms, which is how we ended up with this large space for just my dad and me.) Secondly, it is immaculately clean. Beyond that, the furniture and beds are very comfortable, the kitchen and dining room are large, communication with our hosts was very timely and helpful, the area feels safe and is quiet, and it’s close to a couple of restaurants and a grocery store. I have nothing negative to say and would definitely stay here again if I find myself near Birmingham. I highly recommend it!

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The pictures accurately represent the property, but nothing can replace actually being there and experiencing it. The cabin is exactly what it says it it, perfectly decorated with all kinds of memories and stories and if your fortunate, Mr. Grover will spend some time sharing a few of them with you. If you are looking for a place to enjoy some peace and quiet, wake the world up in the morning and put it to bed at night, you've found it. Hosts were very responsive to any questions that I had and were very easy to work with. Don't miss out on this one, worth every penny. p.s. I am happy to report there were no Bigfoot sightings...
