Vacation rentals in Donji Tavankut

The weather was rough this time but the kids still enjoyed themselves. The ponies stayed closer to the house where they were easier to pet and the children enjoyed playing with some of the indoor toys. The picnic area at the house stays dry in the rain so it continues to be possible to be outside even in poor weather. I think there were more swallows (small birds) out in the rain than I have seen before. I recommend the path that goes between the public park and the Orthodox Church near by for bird watching. Overall good to be back. I appreciate diligence of the owners to fix things when normal house issues come up once in a while. We look forward to returning rain or shine🙂

A cozy apartment with modern design, conveniently located within walking distance of grocery stores, attractions, restaurants, and the market. The house is on a quiet street, and the underground parking is a great bonus. We traveled with our dog and appreciated the nearby walking areas. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this place!

We were happy to be back at Ian & Maura’s again. We were able to get a Christmas Tree at the weekly market. It was both cold enough to snow (and build a snowman) and warm enough to bike during our stay. At one point all of the trees frosted throughout town(very beautiful). Previously we hadn’t realized what an important site Stara Moravica is for owls in winter. There is a sign in front of the local school with information on the owls that migrate from all over Europe. It was not uncommon at dusk to see as many as five giant owls leaving their roosts for the night on the walk back from the local grocery store. We timed our grocery shopping so the kids would be able to watch for owls on the way back. Our nine year old found a bird identification book on the shelf in the living room and enjoyed trying to identify the other birds in the trees in the yard. Laszlo was helpful and friendly as usual. We look forward to returning the end of February.

Danijela is super responsive and helpful. The apartment was amazing, had everything one would need for a great stay, and the location was perfect, walking distance to anything you might need but still quiet for a good night sleep.

Everything was perfect as always, this will forever be my favorite place to stay at while in Subotica! Thank you for having me again, and see you next time!

Csodálatos, meseszerű hely. Nagyon szép környezet, gyönyörű tágas ház. Külön plusz, hogy már a kisebb házban is van jól felszerelt, funkcionális konyha. Eszter nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt, könnyű kommunikáció. Biztos, hogy még visszatérünk!

First of all, the place is even more spacious than on photos. It's clean, super warm (while there was minus in temperature outside) and cozy. Everything you need is up to 10 minutes walk from here. Plenty of parking options also. And hosts are helpful and kind 🙂 My full recommendation.

Thank you Tomislav for providing such a beautiful place to stay for our family. Flat is located in the heart of the city however has a sense of privacy as is located in the quiet courtyard just off one of the main streets in Subotica. Excellent heating, well-equipped kitchen (not big but sufficient with double induction hob), light and has enough space for 4 people and most importantly for us - it had three VERY comfortable beds (double and two singles). Plenty of storage, GOOD hairdryer. No washing machine but dry cleaners a few doors away. Bathroom could do with a bit of updating but other than that, felt modern, clean with nice decor. WiFi was great. Tomislav was very professional and helpful, great communication and overall a pleasant experience :-) Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Predrag’s home was beautiful. It was extremely clean and had a lot of nice simple touches like slippers, shaving cream, umbrella, etc. It was a very quiet area and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Sombor! Check in was extremely easy as well. The only thing that’s missing is a wine bottle opener. Other wise A+++ stay here!!!
