This is surely a one-of-a-kind place to stay at in Skopje. The apartment looks just like the pictures. Suitable for more adventurous travellers. Apartment located right above a cafe that opens till late but we were not affected by the noise. Location was perfect - only a few minutes' walk away from the key tourist spots. The bedroom is located in sort of a mezzanine floor and accessed by a set of spiral staircase. There are quite a few dead lightbulbs and dusty bits around the flat but we found it acceptable given how big it is. Josif was very responsive to our messages and accommodating to our requests.

Daniel’s apartment is large and beautiful, with a separate living room, dining area, and bedroom. There were a few things that needed repair, but I have confidence that he will fix those promptly before the next guest arrives. The better restaurant options are in the neighborhood on the other side of the boulevard, up behind Silbo bakery. The downtown plaza area is very interesting and everything is safe and easy to walk to or take an inexpensive cab. (Make sure the cab driver is legitimate and has a meter that starts at 60 denars!!)

Great location, nice modern and clean apartment with a nice view over Skopje on the top floor (9). The Karposh area with its dozens of bars, wine bars, cafes and good restaurants is just a 10-15 minute walk away. The Skopje City Mall shopping center is also very near, with ATMs and local mobile operators. There are also shops, kiosks and a pharmacy on the ground floor of the building and neighboring buildings. The garage entrance and parking spot were a big plus, easy to access to elevators from garage. The apartment has air conditioning, which during summer is necessary. Morning sun shines into the apartment and onto the big balcony, which is good because the afternoon sun can be too hot. The apartment had all the basic amenities, chocolate and coffee capsules for the coffee machine a big plus. The building and surroundings were very quiet and peaceful. The sofa bed in the living room is wide and comfy for an adult. WIFI worked well.

Had a nice stay at Ivan’s Cabin. We went to the (very) nearby Matka Canyon and hiked the Mavrovo mountains (by rental car). At driving distance you will find lots of restaurant/supermarkets etc.
