We vacationed as a family of five in a cottage on Kabalana Beach. The location was superb—only ten meters from the beach—and featured a charming garden that stayed cool in the shade even on sunny days. Although the cottage was simple, it provided everything necessary for a comfortable stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. A special mention must go to the outstanding manager and chef, Susil. His warm and unobtrusive manner, coupled with genuine care for our children, made our visit both unforgettable and exceptionally comfortable. Every day, he prepared delicious meals with love and resolved any issues with ease. Owner Amit was also very responsive, ensuring a smooth check-in process and continuous assistance. The only minor drawbacks were the nearby road and the somewhat dark interior, but these were easily outweighed by the prime location and Susil’s remarkable hospitality. Our children still fondly remember their time there and eagerly await a return visit. Thank Susil 🤗🥰

We were blown away by the beauty and serenity of Villa Ovita in Talpe, Sri Lanka. This stunning villa was literally a paradise on earth, surrounded by lush greenery and an incredible array of animals. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in a nature lover's haven. But what truly made our stay special was the warm hospitality of our host, Damith. He was incredibly welcoming and kind, and it's clear that he's poured his heart and soul into creating this beautiful oasis. His hard work has paid off, and we felt so grateful to have been able to experience it. We spent our last few days in Sri Lanka at Villa Ovita, and it was the perfect way to unwind and relax. Thank you, Damith, for your exceptional hospitality and for sharing your little slice of paradise with us. We can't recommend Villa Ovita highly enough!

This is our 2nd stay at Sha Villas by Ushaan. Overall, Five-star host and a brilliant apartment! Check in and check out is super easy, and Ushaan is a very communicative and thoughtful host. It is a beautiful , spacious place with great amenities. Immaculately clean and a very convenient location. We would book again for our next visit.

We (couple, 60) couldn't have found a better accommodation. We stayed for 4 weeks and it was a pure vacation in Champa's house. We lived in the ground floor apartment. The apartment has a terrace where we spent a lot of time and were able to look at the extraordinary vegetation and the exotic animals in the large, quiet garden. The hosts are extremely helpful, not to mention kind! We could contact them at any time. The apartment is spacious, clean and beautiful, we felt very comfortable and safe. One of the most beautiful experiences on our travels, living there and we will come back to enjoy the great atmosphere in Champa's house again!

If you want to get out of busy roads of Hikkaduwa it is your choice. You can relax at the pool and have a beautiful view on a rice field with buffaloes and birds. If you want to have something just ask the owner- he got everything. The place is new and not far away from the Main Street with many cafes and restaurants. Have a variety of different rooms to choose- it was definitely the best stay in Sri Lanka for us.

Words cannot describe how perfect our stay was. Sharmini was a fantastic host, even before we got there. She was quick to answer my many questions about the villa, the local area and sharing details of companies that could collect our large party of 12 from the airport. Even calling them on my behalf when they didn't respond to my messages. The photos of the villa don't do it justice. The rooms are all a fantastic size, beds and pillows comfy and the bathrooms are wonderful. The location on the beach was just perfect. We were 3 families with 6 children between 2 and 8 and we all spent our time running from beach to pool l. Idilic. But the standout feature of the villa is the fabulous and dedicated staff. Dilu, Milan and Bandu. Dilu could not do enough for us and was on hand, yet discreet. Milan! Well his cooking is easily the best I've had in Sri Lanka. He cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for all of us every night catering for us all! Our villa stay was perfect in every way!

Lovely hosts who were helpful throughout & greeted us, showing us around the property! Such a huge space with lots of useful amenities :) A very beautiful villa inside and outside in the private garden.. Was great that 3 of the bedrooms had A/C & the kitchen was fully equipped. Surrounding area was great and there was lots of points of interest within walking distance. Once again such lovely hosts and we will look forward to staying again as we felt right at home! Staying with Muditha was a pleasant cultural exchange: his family wad very friendly and welcoming, kind and very generous. Muditha was very responsive and helpful right from the beginning and was communicative when we reached out to understand better. He arranged a car for us from Colombo at a good price and also helped us arrange for scooter rental. Staying with Muditha is really good value considering the spaciousness of the house and the appropriate amenities for a long term stay (kitchen, washing machine and workspace) - he was committed to us having a comfortable stay and efficiently problem-solved issues we had with the fridge and minor problems with the light. Muditha is a responsible host and trustworthy. We knew we would have a great time! He often invited us to join him and his family and his family members are really lovely and sweet to get to know - we interacted often as we shared the same compound while having privacy. Our experience here was enriched because of them!
