The Game Keepers, Liskeard

We had a wonderful stay with Julie & Roger. The cottage was a good size so felt spacious and the grounds were beautiful. Super fast wifi and all the amenities you would need Julie and Roger were super helpful with their advice and recommendations and even drove myself and my daughter to the train station when we were without a car. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Cornwall to consider staying here. Whilst you’re not immediately within the towns or harbour villages you are well placed to cover a wide area and the surroundings are so quiet and picturesque

6 Lake View

VictoriaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Great stay here at Lake View. Hosts went above and beyond sending over recommendations and giving us a curtesy call to make sure we had everything we needed. Great restaurant and bar on site with amazing hostess that went the extra mile. Extremely dog friendly and lovely views all round with walks suggested to us by the owners which we would have loved to have done if we had enough time. Accommodation itself was clean and spacious, great facilities, a little tired looking in places but absolutely no complaints. Really looking forward to staying again and exploring more of Cornwall.

Gamekeepers Apt - CV20

A great place to stay. A good base to explore bodmin moor, and the south Cornwall coast and towns. A great tennis court as well.
An aerial view captures a secluded beach with soft white sand bordered by lush green cliffs. Gentle waves lap at the shore, while patches of rocky formations are visible at the water's edge. The expansive landscape showcases rolling hills and a clear blue sky.

Karow barn. A peaceful 2 bedroom barn conversion

MichaelaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Warm welcome including freshly made apple juice from their own orchard. Beautiful, private, peaceful, lots of running space for children. Wild deer and rabbits seen. Spotless warm property. Diverse selection of books to keep everyone happy. Note fridge is quite small, and freezer very small. Thank you for a lovely stay, great value and memorable.

The Barn by the Warleggan River

SteveRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Wow.... What an amazing place. We where looking for somewhere quite and relaxing and the Barn was perfect. Debi's communication was great from the moment we made the booking until the moment we arrived at the Barn. First impressions where that we had found a very special place in a unique location and we relaxed into our break instantly. We chilled out for the first day in the property that was equipped with everything we need, the welcome basket was a lovely surprise and we really enjoyed the cream tea. On the second day we again relaxed and soaked up the fantastic feel of the Barn and how close you feel to nature when staying there. We decided to do the walk to the Halfway House that we found in the comprehensive information pack that Debi and Martyn have put together. The walk was easy and went through some beautiful countryside, we enjoyed a Rattler before taking the gentle stroll back up the hill. This property has everything you require to relax in an amazing environment.
The stone barn conversion is surrounded by gently sloping greenery, featuring low shrubs and flowering plants. The roof is adorned with slate tiles, and the structure is complemented by large windows that invite natural light. A clear blue sky serves as a backdrop.

1 Bedroom Semi-detached Barn conversion

Alison's accommodation is absolutely beautiful, such a stunning location, so quiet and easy to find and communication was excellent. Alison's place was stunning, immaculately clean, had everything that we needed, well equipped, very comfy bed and lovely fluffy white towels. Alison very kindly allowed us to park another vehicle during our stay and even on our last day whilst we were out sightseeing. I would definitely recommend Alison's place - 10 out of 10!!

*Newly Renovated* Cornish Cottage On Bodmin Moor

Ms Geanette AnnRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The location is perfect if you are looking for total peace and quiet. Centrally located for visits to north and south coasts. An escape from everything if that’s what you’re after. The cottage was one of the best we have stayed in, and we have stayed in many. Full of character but totally modern inside which we like. The bathroom is large and modern with a beautiful shower. The bedroom has a wonderfully comfortable bed with white linen and is cosy and dark. Perfect for the best nights sleep. The kitchen/lounge/diner has everything you will need. Only suggestion would be an air fryer. Everything from fluffy white towels, bits and bobs for your dog, tea and coffee, etc. also a very lovely touch was the chilled bottle of prosecco in the fridge. There is a lovely private garden with amazing views over the moors where we enjoyed chilling after the end of the day. From very fussy people we say thank you for our perfect stay at The Wren!😄

Rosehill Shepherds hut

AngeliqueRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We stayed in two places during our Cornwall trip, and I wish we had booked this one for the entire week. It’s peaceful, with beautiful views, farm animals nearby, and birdsong in the morning, such a calming experience. The hut was spotless and fresh, especially the bathroom. Verity was lovely and responsive. On our third day, we noticed the sheep had moved elsewhere, and after we mentioned it, Verity kindly had them brought back in front of our hut, such a lovely gesture! We were also allowed an early check-in, which was much appreciated. The location is great too: close to supermarkets, Looe Beach (16 mins), and the Eden Project (30 mins). One thing to note: the listing showed pots and pans, but there weren’t any. Verity said they don’t provide them so I assume this may have been a listing error from Airbnb. But they do have a microwave, toaster, and kettle. We had a wonderful 4-day stay and would definitely return. hopefully with our cats if pets are allowed in the future!
