Fishing and boat enthusiasts can take a short 3-block stroll to behold the breathtaking views of the Rock River dam and waterfront. Located only 0.8 miles away is our adorable downtown where you can explore quality retail shops, a charming bookstore, bakeries, a fine art gallery, wine shop, multiple fine dining restaurants. Grandmas House can not be booked for parties/events.

Beautifully restored 1892 apartment in the heart of Morrison's national historic district offers Victorian elegance with many modern conveniences. A true secret awaits behind the Red Door nestled in between downtown businesses. come on up and enjoy 1100 square feet of recent updated space. The front living room shares an office workspace nook both enjoying large windows flowing in light from the north. A center bedroom with queen size bed is accessible from both living room and front hall, next to the all in one washer/dryer. The back half houses a kitchen with new appliances, dining room, bath and 2nd bedroom with full size bed!

Enjoy peaceful morning coffee on the front porch overlooking restored wetlands, prairie, and hardwoods. Walk the miles of farm paths before dining outside under starry skies. Just minutes from Princeton's Amtrak station, antique malls, coffee shops, and bakeries.

Located just a half mile from town, but secluded enough to be a private hilltop house retreat. The deck overlooks downtown with a backdrop of the Mississippi River! Enjoy the outdoors hiking at the Palisades State Park with miles of trails just a short drive away, kayak or fish one of the many rivers or lakes, stroll through downtown for antique and gift shopping, or visit a nearby winery. After a day of adventures, relax in the spa tub or enjoy a glass of wine on the private deck.

LHOTP (Lil House On The Prairie)

Lil House On The Prairie (LHOTP) is aptly named because it’s located on the edge of Nachusa Grassland’s 1,000 acre south Bison pasture. The 100+ herd of free ranging Bison can often be viewed right along the boundary fence to the west! This recently remodeled two bedroom cottage can sleep six with two queen size beds and with a pull out sofa bed. LHOTP offers a quiet, convenient, and comfortable place to base your adventures from. Behaved dogs & responsible owners welcome!

GOOSE ISLAND CABIN -Secluded Riverside Eco-Retreat

Nestled along the banks of the Rock River under tall oaks, ye ol cabin was built by early settlers in 1907. Legit rustic charm. Secluded yet only 10 mins from the fun town of Oregon. 100 acres of private property, bordering Lowden-Miller State Forest. Includes use of canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, deck, porch and firewood. $35/night/person/pet after first 2 people. Message Tim about accomodating big groups and events.

Cozy Cabin on the Mississippi River

This cabin is located on the serene backwaters of the Mississippi. It is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway, or ideal spot to rent for fishing tournament‘s or duck hunting. This cabin is situated next to pool 13, and there is plenty of space for multiple vehicles and boats to park. Only half a mile away from the loading dock and close by to an Illinois State Park, our cabin allows Guests to enjoy nature in a relaxed setting.
