My husband and I attended a charity convention at the Post Ballroom in Dixon and chose Hunter & Tim's place for the walkable location. The space was charming, relaxing, and very comfortable. It was great sitting in the sun room, enjoying morning coffee and watching birds and the Rock River drift by as we prepared for our busy days. The amenities were exactly what we needed for our stay, with very comfortable sleeping, a kitchen fully stocked with cookware, and a clean, efficient washroom. Our hosts were considerate and communicated clearly, adding to the quality of our stay. Highly recommended if you're staying in Dixon.

We have stayed here before and we just love it. We call it "our" farmhouse. Son immediately came out when the air-conditioning was on the fritz. (wish my landlord where I live would do that). My dog Shadow got to meet his family! Pam's grandson is adorable! it really is our home away from home.

The bison house is just that. Bison everywhere. We enjoyed are stay and Earl and Pat were awesome. Communication was great if you had questions they were very responsive and quick to answer. We loved the Bison house with the sunsets, peacefulness and of course the the Bison. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you Earl and Pat.

The house was beautiful and tidy, with plenty of space, comfortably accommodating 8 people. The only downside was that the second bathroom broke down a day before our arrival. Overall, we had a great time in the house.

This was my third stay as I was working in the near area. Everything worked out perfect for me and this location. The house was exactly what I need.

It was great to stay at this property between Christmas and New Year's. Figuring out a place to stay in Dixon (my hometown) isn't always easy, but this provided a way to be together for my family that I rarely get to see. It was comfortable and cozy, warm in the night. Also, it was wonderful to arrive to a lit up Christmas Tree, and discover games that were at the home. The beds were great, and it felt like a peaceful retreat.

This is the perfect place and perfect host for a large group getting together. Myself and a lot of my friends got together from across the country at the cabin for a friend’s wedding over the weekend. The location feels nice and secluded but is still close to everything in Dixon. There were more than enough beds and bathrooms for a group of 12, and it was such a great place to hangout during downtime. We took full advantage of the Pool table, ping pong, foosball, and firepit. I was in charge of the booking for my group and Jose was very responsive and nice in answering my constant questions as I was trying to coordinate with everyone. I couldn’t recommend this booking enough.

Amazing experience! The house exceeded all my expectations. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location was perfect—peaceful yet close to everything. The host was kind and attentive, always available for any questions. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
