With the church of St Marys and the battle site of 1402 and a the remains of a Saxon castle all at the bottom of hill at Pilleth. The market towns of Presteigne and Knighton 6 miles, Hay on wye, Ludlow, Bishops castle and the Elan Valley 20 miles.

Oak beams and wooden floors frame a simple whitewashed open plan space which offers: a sleeping area on the mezzanine with one double floor-level bed and up to two single futons; on the ground floor, a wet-room and the kitchen-eating-living area with Clearview wood-burning stove. Located at the foot of The Offa's Dyke Path and only a 5 minute walk to shops, pubs, park with river access. Wireless. Off road parking. Well behaved dogs welcome. Can accommodate 2 adults and up to 2 children.

Suran-y-coed lodge is located in an isolated valley, with a private hot tub to enjoy great views of the open hills, dark night skies for stargazing, and stillness to listen to the bird song. Relax in your own garden . We ask our guests to be mindful of our family farm with young children and no parties after 10pm to maintain the peace and tranquilly of our valley. There are electric car charging points 9 & 13 miles drive from the farm, no charging from the lodge to the car is permitted.

The flat is a fully equipped, self contained, private part of a larger house. It has been finished to a high specification and includes a spacious bedroom, kitchen/diner, shower/toilet room, and hallway. It also has a private outside patio/garden some of which is a covered area. There is no charge for one child under the age of 8 when accompanied by an adult so you do not have to include him/her in the number of people when booking.
