This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Our location gives you all the possibilities to explore the area and is very centrally located for fun trips to the beach, the dunes, the IJsselmeer or cities such as Schagen, Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam. The flat is one large space of 140m2. Upon arrival, you will come up with the spiral staircase and immediately approach the wonderful Private Rooftop Terrace of 100m2 with built-in Jacuzzi. The house is American relaxed furnished ; think of chesterfield sofas and a large beamer with good sound system. The kitchen is spacious and has utensils and standard utensils. There is no separate bedroom, the 2 double beds are behind curtains. Bathroom has a spacious shower

COVID-19 2022: It is possible to stay contactless. B&B Het Kantoor is located in the friendly village of Sint Pancras. Ideal for a trip to Alkmaar which is just 5 kilometres away. The coastal towns of Bergen and Egmond are easily reachable by car of bicycle. The B&B contains a separate bedroom with an box spring bed and a living room with coffee corner, fridge, microwave, TV and free WiFi. It also contains a private bathroom with walk in shower and washstand.

Good restaurants and the possibility to rent a boat and go sailing, all within walking distance! Only 15 minutes from the coast and close to cities such as Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam. 10 minutes cycling from the station and 5 minutes walking to the shopping center.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland and in the evening there are no buses. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you have to take care of the breakfast yourself.
