Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

We cycled from Dunkirk and after 3 days of hard cycling wanted somewhere nice to relax. This place did just that. Hugo was very accommodating and couldn’t do more to help. Nicolette and Remko made our stay so pleasant and were very friendly to help with plans or a quick chat. The space inside was lovely and roomy. Lots of place to relax outside too. We felt very comfortable in your chalet. Voorthuizen is very central, you can quickly reach various excursion options. For example, we were at the Aqua Mundo swimming pool in Eemhof in 30 minutes or at the Sprookjeswonderland in 45 minutes. The complex is very tidy and clean and my son loved the trampoline :) Thanks for the little gift at the beginning of the stay. :) Best regards and maybe see you soon 🌼🌞😊
