we enjoyed our stay. all the appliances were as described and were of a great help to us. although the approach road to the property from the main highway is a task with sharp inclines, but uska maza bhi kuch aur hai. I enjoyed climbing those inclines twice a day, specially in my morning walks. Every place has its plus and minuses and it depends upon an individual how to find a way to enjoy and have a great time. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Amazing getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life. A place worth visiting, and spending just one day is not enough! You can see the white peaks clearly early in the morning. Perfect to spend time with the loved ones. Road that leads to the stay is also really nice and you can easily take your car there too.

We had a wonderful stay at the La Vie cottage hosted by Sarika ji. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning decor and aesthetics that beautifully blended modern comfort with charming rustic touches. Every room was thoughtfully designed, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere.The amenities were top-notch, ensuring a truly enjoyable stay. The highlight was the breathtaking location. Waking up to a view of the snow-covered mountains was simply magical, and we spent countless hours just soaking it all in. The garden was another delightful surprise however it needed maintainance. Sarika ji is an extremely proactive and responsive host.The cherry on top was the delicious food cooked by the caretaker Trilok ji who also catered to all our needs. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and serene stay. Can’t wait to come back in the summer 🙂

Our stay at the villa was undoubtedly the highlight of our entire Uttarakhand journey. The location offered breathtaking views and an atmosphere of sheer tranquility. From serene mornings spent breathing in the crisp valley air to delightful evenings on the terrace creating cherished memories with friends, the villa proved to be an exceptional host to our experience. We were thoroughly impressed by the meticulous arrangements at the villa. From the welcoming sensor lights at the gate that guided us during late-night arrivals to the array of thoughtful amenities, every detail was well-planned. Dining options were versatile, with the choice of a maid preparing meals at the villa, a cook conveniently located nearby, or simply ordering from nearby restaurants. The bedrooms were designed to offer ultimate coziness, and the charming drawing room, complete with a fireplace, added a warm and inviting touch. Sunilji’s hospitality was unparalleled. Always just a phone call away, he is prompt.

A great place. Just what we wanted. The cottage - is not very old. Yet it is built in local fashion with local materials but with all modern 'living amenities' as listed. In keeping with the mountain terrain it is built at 'levels. 'Full of knick knacks, a fire place & so on.... All this gives it a very cosy , yet rustic feel, very authentic & lovable. The cottage does not have a 'living room', but that is compensated by the large verandah overlooking the property. Grand views all day. the owners were present in their other house on the property. Very friendly yet not intrusive. One does not expect such help full caretakers in a airbnb. The caretaker cum househelp cum handyman Mr. Bobby Singh who is on hand 24/7 is a gem. he cleans, cooks, advises(if asked). Plus there is Mr. Anand Singh who takes care of the 'grounds' of the property, who helps in procuring groceries & stuff. Two people to help !!! Almost like a serviced resort . Mass tourism hasnot made its way to these parts yet, as a result, the place is serene and calm. View of snow peaks right from your balcony is mesmerizing. There is not much to do, which is perfect. Raghuwar takes really good care of you and the food is simple and home like. It's a great option. Would definitely come again

Ray's Cottage is exactly what it aims to be - a home away from home, with a view of a lifetime! The way the house is set up, you can't help but fall a little in love with it from the moment you step inside. The owner's personal touches in decor makes the place come alive in itself. The view of the Garhwal Himalayas from the balcony, the lovely walks up and down the path, and most importantly, the caretaker Shekhar bhai, who was very accommodating and always ready to go above and beyond to make our trip go smoother - hit all the right spots and made this cottage worth every penny!

A beautiful home in a secluded area… it is ahead of Ranikhet city but you will not miss anything. A home made with love and the thought behind making this beautiful home connects with u in every way. Highlights of the property: 1. The most beautiful sunrise you can witness… if u don’t feel up to step out in the garden then you can literally lie down near the bay window and see the sunrise right from your room. 2. Amazing caretaker Vinod ji.. who will go over and beyond to make you feel at home.. he is a great cook just let him know in advance what u want and you will enjoy each meal. (He makes amazing coffee :)) 3. You have your own private lawn - where you can soak in the place , feel the breeze and look at the amazing night sky ! 4. Rooms are very clean - small details to ensure you have the perfect stay - there is a guest welcome booklet which has got all the details - right from the thought of naming this cottage as Nandmaya to contact details invade of emergency like medical.

Great place to cut you off from the city life. Pankaj ji (host) was always reachable and responsive. Bunty ji and Balam singh ji made our stay very comfortable. Food was good as well. The place is actually into the wilderness. we spoted barking deer and Sambar deer from the balcony itself. Its kids friendly. We will visit here again.
