What a great spot close to supermarket, shops, restaurants and ferry terminal. Beautiful area with amazing homes. Jack & Sinead were wonderful hosts so friendly and accommodating. My only criticism would be it doesn’t have a microwave which would have been helpful. Everything was as described. Otherwise we loved our stay at Tobin’s rest. We will be back if we ever get the opportunity. Kathryn & Rod

Devonport is a lovely seaside village surrounded by good walks, a great beach, excellent shops and a regular ferry service to the city. After a long trip I wanted to have a little space, quiet and me time before travelling around NZ. This place was just what I needed. The wee house is nestled in a sunny, green garden with the sound of birds tweeting away. It has a separate entrance and is very private. The place was spotless, had a good kitchen and an excellent shower. There’s plenty of storage space and a comfortable bed. Anne is a super friendly host and made me feel at home. Would I recommend this place to stay. Emphatically. Yes!
