Stayed here with my partner as a friend recommended it, and let me tell you we were not disappointed. Such beautiful place the river beside the pod is so soothing and calming, absolutely enjoyed ourselves with how private the place is, and not far from the nearest town. Would definitely be back ! And the host was amazing and always on point with messaging back to answer any queries. Will be back

We had a great night away at this wonderful property. We arrived and were given instructions to get the key which were spot on. We only stayed a short time to change and tgen onto a christening we returned later and the other couple were there already relaxing. The house was very clean and homely. We immediately felt comfortable the rooms were massiveand there was a big kitchen with all the utilities we ordered chinese and had some wine and chilled out for the evening. The location was perfect everyone was very impressed we will definitely be back.

The ground floor appartment was beautifully equipped and very cosy. All was as described in the listing. The location is close to the town and we found a really great restaurant "The Banks". Only there for one night, so no great opportunity to explore the town or local area.

Stephen was a fantastic host and a gent. He had everything sorted for us like disposable bbq, tea, coffee hygiene products etc. He also had a bottle of Charmaine and some goodies ready for us. The hot tub was brilliant and everywhere was very clean. Will definitely be returning 👏

Only stayed one night unfortunately but the place was spacious and comfortable and was in a great location on the boardwalk so restaurants and old town etc all within easy walking distance. Anna was really helpful and responded instantly to any communication and was able to provide recommendations for this to do even for such a whirlwind visit. Would highly recommend.

My friends and I had a lovely stay in Claires apartment. We had all we needed and was home from home like. Very relaxing stay and really enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and great tv for watching the football and youtube etc. Claire was very quick to answer any questions we had about the apartment and was very friendly. Would highly recommend

Just back from a 2 night stay with my dog. Emmett's house was spotlessly clean. There was a nice bottle of white wine in the fridge and some milk, a lovely bunch of fresh flowers in a vase, peat in a basket and logs and kindling and firelighters to light the fire. Loads of cleaning kit in the kitchen and toiletries in the bathroom. The music being played outside is a great touch! Loved it. I slept in the double bed and it was very comfortable and cosy. There's a tv in each bedroom but I couldn't get any reception but I plugged in my firestick and that was fine as the wifi is good. Loads to see and do in the area but you'd need a car and the house is very central to interesting spots. I spent the whole day yesterday visiting the 3 Giants of the Sperrins. Well worth the walk up to Darach. Views are amazing as are the views driving through the Sperrins.

Quick and easy way to check in with the lockbox, nice private entrance in and out of the hut, private area around the hot tub felt comfortable knowing no one else was able to see over the fence. Amazing views and a peaceful place to stay, the garden was a good size and nice and secure for the puppy we brought with us. 10/10 place will definitely be back

Host was very friendly, came to the car to greet us and show us our cabin. We were given some recommendations of places to eat and directions when needed. Cabin was exactly as described and amazing attention to detail - the snack box was a lovely touch. It felt like a home away from home.

I loved this home, it's beautiful. Accommodation bigger than I expected, so plenty of room for all the family. Cosy with the wood burner stove lit in Winter and my dogs appreciated the under floor heating. They also enjoyed the large enclosed garden and a walk up the lane. My daughter also loved this place and wishes to return in the summer. She found the bed matress very comfy especially compared to her Uni halls bed. We both love the area for it's peaceful and on sunny day there is nowhere more beautiful for a holiday. Being up in the hills on a clear night you can see all the stars 🌟 Thank you Adrian for being our host, you are really kind, helpful and honest.

The Acorn Lodge was a lovely peaceful retreat that my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed! 🤩 From the quite walks through the forest just across from the cabins to being able to jump into your own private wood-fired hottub, this place was so peaceful 🏞 Albert & Louise were friendly and attentive hosts that recommended plenty of things to do nearby and resturants to try out. They even checked in on the hot tubs fire when we were out to make sure it was ready for us to jump back into when we got back 🥰 Overall this place is definitely a must try! Situated just outside of Derry but feels like your in the middle of a quite forest. Needless to say...we will definitely be back 😁

We had a great few days at Barry's place. Barry was very responsive, and everything we needed was there. We would stay again for sure. Lovely rural location but only a few minutes to the city centre. Sheriff's Mountain Riding Stables is also just next door, 25 metres away, which our kids (4 and 6) absolutely loved .

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Victoria’s house. She is a great host and went out of her way to make my stay as nice as possible. The location is in close proximity to the city centre but still located in a quiet area. The room had everything I needed and more and everything was spotless. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Derry.

Excellent stay in a beautiful private apartment with lots of amenities and a friendly and generous host. The place was super clean and comfortable. We had our best rest here and we truly appreciated the welcome basket.. Thank you very much Suzanne! We had the opportunity to wash some clothes which was such a bonus. Suzanne is a great host, I highly recommend staying here.

Despite a few bits of rubbish under the bed and some dead flies on the blinds the place was so beautiful and very well done! Hot tub was top notch and host very friendly! We had a little trouble with the shower and my partner went straight to Francis to explain the situation and he was right down fixing it. He was very welcoming and what we loved the most was the fact Francis wasn't on top of you, the space was your own and you felt right at home. Bed was extremely comfortable! Will definitely be back in the summer to experience its full beauty in the sun! 10/10 for experience! Well done Francis you have created a beautiful get away thank you ❤️

Rachel was very helpful and welcoming, she met us when we arrived late evening to show us how the heating worked. The house was amazing, very clean and comfortable for our weekend stay to see family in the village. Enough space that we could host everyone for dinner and chill after in the living room. Rachel and her family were very friendly and helpful. Overall, brilliant property, and will definitely book again in the future.

Nicole and family respect your privacy but are also happy to chat and offer you a beer in the shared kitchen, and We had a Pleasant conversation in the living room beside the warm fireplace. Absolutely beautiful location! The cabin was beautiful and cozy and we Absolutely loved the hot tub, we didn't want to leave! Dympna and her husband was so kind, they left snack and a birthday card for my husband. And so close to the forest park. Will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone we know❤️ Fantastic place!
