Superb Edwardian period Bedroom & private bathroom

StewartRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
David is an excellent host, extremely kind , generous and friendly to all guests. David is an excellent communicator and high responsive to any requests for information. The accommodation is to such a high standard, that there simply can be no comparison with any other property. Every detail is thought of and guests receive what I believe to be hotel standard accommodation. David added a great personal touch by greeting us upon arrival and was a most gracious host. We would absolutely stay here again if in the area, we would even plan a trip again just to stay here! Such a beautiful property, experience and the surrounding area is very peaceful and beautiful. Very highly recommended. Thank you again David.
A light-filled living space features two comfortable sofas facing each other, complemented by a wooden coffee table. A well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances is visible in the background, creating an open and inviting design. Decorative elements include a colorful wall piece and a vase of flowers on the table.

Converted country stone barn

MargaretRating, 5 stars65 months ago
Upon arrival we were met by a smiling Bernadette who proudly showed us around the beautiful converted barn! What a showplace it is! Spacious rooms with comfortable furniture, every thing we needed for a short visit to northern Ireland! From a beautiful welcome basket filled with goodies such as bread, jam, butter, milk, tea and coffee, a much needed washer and dryer for our by then well traveled clothes, comfortable beds and the best in my mind heated floors!!! Bernadettes husband came over and lit a peat fire for us that evening in the more than impressive huge brick fireplace, both were very gracious and friendly hosts! The location is perfect for touring around northern Ireland, being about a hour and a half to the giants causeway and all the other great scenic locations. Not too far away is a small grocery store that carries all the essentials and has a post office for those postcards! The view from the back sitting room is amazing, hills and sheep grazing! Enjoying coffee there on our final morning we were surprised when it started snowing, we were able to enjoy watching the snow storm roll in covering the hills with a blanket of white! All in all a wonderful place to stay!!
A cozy sleeping area is highlighted by a king-sized bed adorned with floral bedding and decorative pillows. A plush sheep toy sits at the foot of the bed, while a bedside lamp and a wooden chair are positioned nearby.

Lovely place. Pamela was friendly and helpful but not fussy. Whole family stayed 3 nights, everything was perfect. Slept like logs. Nice thoughtful touches like flexible timings and milk in the fridge, tea bags. Only problem is it was so comfortable we didn't want to leave! Thanks Pamela

The Avish Cottage: 18th-century Irish farmhouse

ShaunaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
From the very start of booking, Ann was helpful and responsive to questions I had as I was coming from out of the country. Upon arrival, her brother, Robert, greeted us and quickly had us feeling right at home. The cottage was so much more cozy and homey than the pictures could possibly capture and the area overlooking Derry was beautiful at night. The cottage was beautifully kept and had everything we could have possibly needed along with instructions on parts of the cottage such as how to start a fire in the sitting room to make it extra cozy. For being an old farm house, we were pleasantly surprised how well everything worked such as the hot water. Overall, staying at Ann's cottage and going to some of the restaurants she had recommended really amplified our experience and made our stay so enjoyable. We are already talking about another trip to the cottage in the future just because we loved it so much!
A two-story cottage is displayed, featuring a textured white exterior complemented by a dark slate roof. Large glass doors provide a transparent view of the interior, while evenly spaced windows allow ample natural light. A neatly maintained lawn surrounds the cottage, enhancing its rural charm.

We love staying in Mary’s gorgeous cottage! This was our 2nd year staying here and we were just as delighted as last year. Mary is so generous and provides so much to make our stay very comfortable. Mary is so warm and welcoming and very appreciative of her guests. We had a wonderful holiday and would recommend Mary’s cottage very highly. It’s very close to local shops etc. but also very quiet and peaceful. The best Airbnb experience!

Countryside Home | Sleeps 8 | Pet-Friendly

SarahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I loved this home, it's beautiful. Accommodation bigger than I expected, so plenty of room for all the family. Cosy with the wood burner stove lit in Winter and my dogs appreciated the under floor heating. They also enjoyed the large enclosed garden and a walk up the lane. My daughter also loved this place and wishes to return in the summer. She found the bed matress very comfy especially compared to her Uni halls bed. We both love the area for it's peaceful and on sunny day there is nowhere more beautiful for a holiday. Being up in the hills on a clear night you can see all the stars 🌟 Thank you Adrian for being our host, you are really kind, helpful and honest.

We booked this lovely family home for 1 week whilst we waited for our new house to be available. We ended up staying for nearly 3 weeks. The setting is beautiful with wonderful views all around, and it’s very peaceful too. Rosemary answered all queries very promptly. It was a great place to relax at a stressful time.

Relax and unwind in Roe Loft at Drumcovitt

LornaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Roe Loft was exactly as it was advertised. Although pictures did not do it justice, even though the accommodation was true to all pictures and descriptions. It was secluded, private, peaceful and spotlessly clean. Sarah and Chris were lovely, friendly and very discreet. Totally available but left us to ourselves unless they were needed. All queries were very quickly responded to before and during our stay. The loft had everything you could wish for, even condiments for our fish suppers which was a lovely surprise find in the kitchen cupboards. There were tourist info sheets on table and great welcome information. Loft was lovely, cosy and comfortable, my favourite spot was the window seat seeing the garden and birds popping up to say hello. We were warmly welcomed by all including the family dog which just made us feel even more welcome. The location was secluded but gave us easy travel to all the areas we had planned to visit during our short stay. We certainly hope to return.

A peaceful stay in Faughan Cottage at Drumcovitt

HanaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We’ve been raving about our stay here since getting home. What a home away from home. Such a treat having the wood burner, it kept us toasty and the heating switched off during our stay. The beds were super comfortable, and as a couple who have different preferences on mattress firmness, we were both happy! The games room was a huge bonus, and the outside play areas would have been amazing if the weather was a bit better for us! Such a peaceful stay and the hosts are lovely and friendly, and always happy to help if you need anything. Thank you so much for having us!!

Drumcorn Cottage in the heart of the country

LynneRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Elaine’s cottage was exactly what we needed when prepping for our wedding and after. Lots of space for the kids and very friendly atmosphere. My boys were able to see the cows daily and see them being milked, a fantastic experience for us all. Elaine made us feel very welcome and with a variety of family members visiting there was plenty of room. It was very peaceful and easy access to town. Would love to stay again when we next visit. Thanks for the memories x

A relaxing retreat in Foyle Cottage at Drumcovitt

JoanRating, 5 stars5 months ago
what can I say, Sarah was the nicest lady that I've met in a very long time, she was very friendly, very helpful and very accommodating to us all the time. Sarah went out of her way to help us. Sarah lives in a beautiful place. I'm sure Sarah's friends praise her and have very high opinions about her, because she is a lovely lady. There are beautiful walks in the surrounding areas and a wee spar shop close by. We felt very much at home and loved the wee stove, especially when it rains. We had a great time and throughly enjoyed our stay. thanks Sarah for everything that you helped us with, we so much appreciated it. We will keep it as one of our favourite places to stay. thanks soo much.
