Brilliant stay in Harrogate at Jane’s place. Property was fantastic with comfortable living room, kitchen-come-diner, beds and perfect amenities - a home from home. Location was super central yet the stay was quiet (and cool) with bedrooms in the basement. Host was proactive and helpful. All very professional and seamless! We will hopefully stay again!

Richard was a warm and friendly host. Everything was just as described and it was a great hub for our stay in Giggleswick. Hopefully we will return in the future!

This is a charming old place with the character and essentials as if someone still lives there. Very, very clean and tidy. It is set in a beautiful outerskirts area of Bowness with only a short walk to the busy centre. This will suit someone who wants a very peaceful and quiet getaway in a stunning location yet close to the township as an option.

We chose Orchard cottage to stay for Christmas with the family - 5 adults and 2 dogs. The photos do not do this place justice, it is much more spacious than it looks online! Great accessibility for my mother in law who struggles with stairs - the ground floor bedroom and bathroom was perfect. We had such a brilliant Christmas day here - Steve had stocked the kitchen with all the pots, pans and utensils needed to cook a full Christmas roast! The cottage is in such a peaceful location, loads of walks straight from the door, there are quiet lanes and lots of public footpaths to explore. The village itself is isolated, and doesn't have a shop, but does have a brilliant traditional local pub, with an open fire, and serves ales and food and is very dog friendly. Appleby is only a 10 minute drive away for any shopping you may need. Steve was so friendly and helpful from start to finish, the perfect host!
