Beachfront vacation rentals in Den Helder

We had a wonderful time there. Nice cottage, very quiet in the back and yet within 5 minutes in the shopping street, full of cafes, restaurants, shops,... Jumbo and Lidl are also immediately nearby. In the cottage, everything is there to make it cozy. Candles, cozy blanket, good sofa, lovely beds and a kitchen overlooking the garden. Heating works fine too. You only need to raise the thermostat 1 degree...and everything is nice and warm. The Nespresso is also a luxury. Dirk even provided enough coffee pods, cookies and sugar and milk. Tea and a kettle are also available. Nice tableware too. In the bathroom, you can find all kinds of shampoos and shower soaps. The toilet is ingenious, with a small sink on top! 😀 As mentioned, a great stay with a host who can always be reached quickly. We are definitely blown away! 😉 We'll be back! 😍

The apartment is ideally located – only 2 minutes walk to the city center and in 5 minutes you are already on the beach. The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. I would like to highlight the hosts: super warm, helpful and likeable – you felt welcome right away. Thank you for a great stay, we will be happy to come back!

We felt very comfortable. The completely fenced property is great for dogs. Very good starting point for cycling tours. The double bed is large enough and very comfortable. There is a Senseo machine and a small coffee machine available. Great views, especially at sunset.

Lovely apartment! Clean, neat, private and everything you need was available. There were all kinds of gifts ready and even treats for my dog.️🍀 Within 3 minutes I was in the dunes and a 10-minute walk to the 🏖️ beach 👍🏼 Even the center was only an 8-minute walk. I would definitely recommend this nice place!

We enjoyed it very much at Ron and Marloes. The apartment was clean and the location was just perfect. Short distances to the supermarket (2 minutes), the ice cream parlor (3 minutes) and the beach (about 6 minutes). Playgrounds are also a few minutes away. The kitchen was well equipped. The contact with the family was smooth and they were always approachable. Communication in advance was exemplary and inquiries were responded to quickly. We will be happy to come back.

We spent wonderful and relaxing days in this beautiful house. The cottage is well equipped and very cozy. The location near the beach is also great. Angelien is a great hostess. We were completely satisfied and highly recommend this place!!

I really liked the tiny house. It was perfect for my first solo trip. It felt very cozy. I had everything i needed to cook for myself which was a priority for me. Maudy was very helpful. I enjoyed the sea, the dunes and the calm.

The location of the house is excellent. 10 minutes, mostly through dunes and you are on a quiet beautiful beach. In front of the cottage a lawn with trampoline, carts, go-karts. Ideal for young children. Good farm shop with many organic products including delicious bread, good soup and lots of fruits and vegetables. Sympathetic owner of the cottage . Had a wonderful time.

We had an excellent stay at Anneke’s place. The place was quite aesthetic as well as so convenient with an amazing garden. Our 3 year old daughter especially enjoyed the trampoline and the swing in the garden. The location was really apt, we could do day trips to Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, Hague, Utrecht, Haarlem. Overall a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

This was a real special find! The 3 days we spent in Zeewold were amazing. We had a group of 10 friends, and we had a great time at this unique mansion. Everything was ready for us, the house is fantastic, the surroundings are very unique, the place is comfortable, quiet, with lots of home feelings. We were able to cook inside, ride the boat, play in the garden. We were a bit apprehensible because we were organizing this for a large group, with people coming from many countries, and we had never been to Zeewold before. Yet, the hosts helped out with clear information and sending all the details we needed. Not related to the house itself, but the Asian restaurant nearby is amazing (very recommended) and the city is close by for dinner, online orders and shopping. Two things we heard from people in the group: "when we came back next year..." and "this house is already our house, let's reserve it now!" So, looks like we will be back next year! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this chalet! The place is even more cozy and charming than the photos show — beautifully located and very peaceful. It was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Birgit was an incredibly supportive and responsive host. Communication was smooth and friendly from start to finish, and she made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. We are already thinking about coming back in the future. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

We had great days, it looked like summer holidays! Super nice tent in a quiet spot just behind the dunes.....equipped with fine beds and everything you need while camping! We would love to come back to this beautiful place, thank you Drees!

Anouk is a very friendly and caring hostess. She prepared our arrival very well and was always available to us. In the small, bright and cozy cottage with the very idyllic garden, we immediately felt comfortable. The beautiful surroundings invite you to take long walks and great bike rides. In the 10 days we saw and experienced so much beauty and after each excursion we always returned to the cottage very happily. Thank you dear Anouk

If you want to relax for a few days without doing much, it's perfect. To explore the surrounding villages, it is advantageous to be mobile by car. The complex is spacious and quiet. If you don't want to cook, you can also eat in the restaurant on the premises. All in all, we were very satisfied, unfortunately the weather was not quite as nice as hoped, but we had a nice time there. Thank you for that :)

We had a really great time in the "sea time." With a lot of love for detail, Stefan and Tim have created a home where you feel comfortable and at home from the first minute. We highly recommend the "Meerzeit"!

Jeannette and Peter are very sweet hosts! We had good and friendly communication,...They gave us many tips. Check-in could even be earlier than expected. We would book the house in the beautifully landscaped park again anytime.

We had a wonderful week in Callantsoog, we had the bikes with us and made beautiful trips through the dunes. The cottage is in a nice location, across the street you have the dunes and the beach within walking distance. The city center is also nearby within walking distance. It is a cozy , clean, neat cottage and equipped with everything you might need, you lack nothing. We felt completely comfortable there and wonderfully quiet. Fons is a nice and friendly host and the contact went well. We'd love to come back.

A very nice, beautiful and clean apartment in a unique, fantastic region! I slept wonderfully and can recommend it to anyone. Plenty of parking spaces at the building. The sea, Den Helder and Texel are nearby. Very good communication from the hosts. Merci for hosting!

Very pleasant stay in this apartment on the 2nd floor, accessible via the outside staircase at the back of the house. There is no lift. Everything was very homey and cozy with great amenities, just to feel good. I'd love to come back.

We had 3 great days in Noordwijk. The tiny house is furnished with a lot of love for detail. Cees and Jennifer welcomed us warmly, everything was explained to us, there were great tips for the area. The place was very clean and had everything you needed. We felt very comfortable and highly recommend the accommodation!!!!

We had a wonderful week in Liz and Alex's apartment. If you love peace and nature, this is the place to be. The apartment is ideal for two people. In addition, you can use sun loungers and benches in the garden. By bike, you can easily reach all the places on the island. In the neighboring village of Osterend there is also a supermarket. You can take a nice walk right by the sea from the apartment, the dike can be reached in 5 minutes. Liz and Alex are very attentive and lovely hosts. The apartment is fully and very functionally furnished. For value for money, we only give 4 stars. Actually, it's a bit too expensive for April. But that's the way it is on the island.
