AMAZING stay!! We had such a blast with all of our family at this cabin. It was tranquil and beautiful. Would definitely recommend :)

Patricia was a great host and was very responsive. We arrived a little earlier than planned, and she allowed us to check in early after a long night of driving, so that was very nice of her and helpful for us.

The place has Awsome mountain feel, the games, whirlpool, and everything comfortable, they put a lot of work into making sure guest has everything, the kids 5 and 10 were over the top excited, my parents relaxed on decks sunrise and sunset. I come to Grand Junction every other month, my kids will kill me if we don’t rebook. Only negative is when up at 4 am remember the bear is stuffed.👍

Beautiful home, super close to the mountain. Host was really friendly, flexible, and responsive. And best of all there wasn’t a 20-item list of action items on checkout. We tidied up of course, but the only ask was to take the trash to the dumpster-it made the morning of departure so easy.

Views were amazing and the campground was quiet and clean. The best bathroom’s I’ve ever experienced at campgrounds. 10/10

Absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for the true Colorado getaway this is your place. The cabin is well stocked, just bring food and clothes. Enjoyed our coffee on the front deck watching the sunrise. I would be happy right there the rest of my life. Our favorite airbnb we have ever stayed in! Just book it, you wont be disappointed!

We had such a lovely stay at this peaceful, clean, Mesa cabin! It felt like our own little private retreat and was so quiet + serene, with beautiful grounds and soft, well-kept grass our pups absolutely loved playing on. The friendly sheep and alpaca were a total highlight 😆 they came right up to us and made the whole experience feel extra special. We walked to dinner one evening, caught a stunning sunset, and ended the night with a cozy campfire and s’mores under the stars. We also took a drive around the Grand Loop, which was breathtaking! Already dreaming about coming back in the fall to see this magical spot in full autumn bloom 🍁 we highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature and charm!

Cute and affordable place with a beautiful view of the night sky. Amazing spot to get some rest and enjoy the stars!

communication from start to finish was perfect. arrived and checked kn quickly. cabin was exactly as described and amazing for our needs. Basic sundries were there along with coffee, they also offered board games and snow sleds! we booked a 3 hour snowmobile tour for my wife, 13yr old daughter and myself that was a true highlight of our trip! I would highly recommend both staying at Thunder Mountain and doing the snowmobile tour!

A miner's cabin in Colorado in the fall, what could be more relaxing? The needle rock cabin is fully restored with all the latest updates yet still feels off grid and begs you to slow down and take everything in. No detail is overlooked and Kerstin is very responsive. Spotlessly clean, so many small but meaningful touches make this an ideal peaceful getaway. The tiny town of Crawford is only minutes away and bigger town of Paonia is 30 minutes down a lovely country road. Colorado at its finest!

The hosts are amazing and truly care about their guests and their experience! The cabins are amazing, the location is so beautiful and they even have rentals. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for another amazing stay!

This is my new favorite getaway! my husband and I stayed here for 4 days and absolutely loved it! My husband and I had never been in that area and we're hunting there for the first time. The host was so friendly and he even gave us some pointers on where some good hunting spots were!! We stayed in cabin #2 specifically, so that we could have a pretty view of the lake. The cabin was equipped with everything that we needed (besides groceries), and was very homey. We'll be back for sure!!

Wonderful stay over new years holiday. Views are spectacular and the privacy made it feel like our own mountain retreat!

Very clean and nice people!

This stay is gorgeous! A perfect house for large groups with comfortable beds. The kitchen was fully equipped for staying home and close to downtown for eating out. Cheryl made us feel right at home.

Our stay was great! We enjoyed snowshoeing in the area and one fire in the evening! Joshua was a good host!

What a wonderful place. So much beautiful space inside allowed us to bring all our family and friends up. Every space outdoors allowed us to spread out and enjoy different views of the aspen, the mountains, and the sky. We did lots of walks and picnics on the property, as it’s so gorgeous in so many different spots. Lisa has done a great job of making the place perfect for us.
