Vacation rentals with a kayak in Delaware River

My family had such a wonderful time staying here. The house was spacious yet cozy and we were able to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal with everything we needed at our fingertips. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the surroundings are right out of a Hallmark movie. We will definitely return!

Ina was a great communicator - from initial contact, instructions for the house, to checkout! She couldn’t have been better. She was quick to respond and very helpful, which made everything super easy. The house had such an amazing view! Our water-loving dog found the river within 5 mins of getting out of the car!! Great amenities (incl. kayaks, life vests (even for the pup!), well stocked kitchen, bed linens, comfy beds and furniture, nicely decorated, and clean)! It was an easy ride to town. We went to get a bit of a respite from our busy lives for a few days in the off season, and the surroundings were just what we needed. One downside was that the utilities (refrigerator and heat) are rather loud when they turn on, so if you’re a light sleeper, you may be bothered. We were awakened a few times, but the rest of the positives made up for it!! Great spot!

Scott is amazing! The airbnb was incredible! Lovely placed filled for immense and loving memories. He allowed me a late Check-Out which was wonderful. Definitely recommend you guys coming more often!

Dom’s place was a perfect location for our visit with family for the holiday. The house was cozy and had a beautiful view of the bay.

Amazing lake views. The fish were biting. A beautiful peaceful getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Quite a memorable and special place. Book it- you won’t regret it. Sweetwater Marina also a nice spot to each. Bikes were fun to ride around and the porch deck made for a lovely spot for coffee and drinks. Plenty of parking and secluded at the end of road. Will rebooked already. 🎣 🏖️ 🛶

We were looking for a place to unwind and we did with Seth’s place. Right on the river, great views, enjoyed the hot tub and very comfortable beds! We had a relaxing time.

Had a great stay at Tiffany and Jack's, with my adult children. The layout provides easy opportunities for both privacy and group activity. We enjoyed setting the crab traps and paddling their very maneuverable kayaks. The house was fully stocked and very comfortable. The location is super close to several convenient stores and gas stations, and Baltimore is easy to access. I would highly recommend staying at Tiffany and Jack's air bnb.

What an incredible place to stay! This is a big old house with lots of wonderful surprises--a kids' nook with great toys, books for kids and adults, a s'mores kit in the larder, interesting art, great outdoor space...everything you could possibly want. There's even a cabinet with a sign that says it has antique serving dishes from the 1800s, and guests should "feel free to use any of these items." I have never felt so strongly, staying in an Airbnb, that the hosts were clearly deeply kind and lovely people. The house obviously means a lot to them, and we felt right at home there.

Had a great time and felt very at home. Ryan and family were extremely welcoming, accommodating, and kind. The cottage was cozy and private. The property was beautiful and a great place to stay.

I cannot say enough about this home. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views, this is the place for you. Hosts were extremely helpful & very quick to respond. We got lucky with beautiful weather and got to enjoy the lake but, stargazing in the jacuzzi at night was a perfect touch. We seriously loved every bit of this home and would love to return one day!! This house was everything we hoped for and more—like stepping into a relaxation video. Peaceful, serene, and surrounded by nature, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, yet we were less than ten minutes from the nearest store. The home itself was beautiful—modern with a cozy, rustic charm. It was thoughtfully stocked with puzzles, games, and books, and the kitchen had everything we needed (I was especially happy to find a crock pot for making chili). Surprisingly, even my two teenagers were completely content. They spent their time kayaking, walking along the water with our dog, or relaxing by one of the many fire pits. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and are already planning to come back.

The place is wonderful. We were down for Thanksgiving with my family and were travelling with our 2 dogs, Wally & Dolly. The location was perfect, close to Riviera Beach where our Family Thanksgiving Dinner was, very private, no noise or distractions for the dogs (that was great). The property was surrounded by water on three sides, great views! It is right next to Ft. Smallwood Park where we took the dogs for walks every day, they loved it. As for the house it was perfect for us, just about the size of our home, so that made it very comfortable for us. All one level, which made it great for us older people. It was furnished with very comfortable furniture. Lots of information about the local surroundings, things to do, and restaurants. Keith was wonderful to work with, very easy to communicate with which made the whole process very easy for us. We even had a conversation over the phone once we were in the house to make sure everything was to our liking, and we were happy !

our stay at ellen’s cottage was private and peaceful. the space had everything needed to feel right at home, including a super comfy mattress!

John’s cottage is exactly what we needed for a weekend escape from the city. The cottage is nestled in a bend of the river with a beautiful and private view. We enjoyed the activities in the area: hiking Tusten mountain, kayaking the river, and exploring nearby Narrowsburg and Callicoon towns. John could not have been more hospitable during our stay, helping with our luggage to setting us up to kayak and providing great local recommendations. I see why people come back to this abode over and over!

Stayed for a long weekend with my wife and two dogs. Cottage was comfortable and clean with an amazing view of the lake with a nice patio and access to the dock which we enjoyed. Also great location just a bit over an hour from the city but within a 15 minute drive to many great hikes and close to many great food options. Tony was also very responsive and helpful with recommendarions. Highly recommend.

Place was amazing! Views from the place were fantastic and the drive to Elk mountain was just short of 20 minutes.

Very comfortable, peaceful gem. Chris was very responsive and even reached out proactively about an additional AC unit given warmer temps to be sure we were comfortable. We used the grill, fire pit and totally enjoyed the trail. Having coffee on the deck each morning was idyllic!!

Cozy cabin -nice setting. Well appointed home.

Had a great time at the cozy cabin. It's a cabin but still has some nice amenities. Location is somewhat close to road, you can hear occasional cars go by. Still, back by the pond it feels like being away from it all. I had a blast hiking local trails and enjoying the foliage.

We wanted a peaceful get away and this place was exactly what we needed, started with notes welcoming our family to the cabin, our children enjoyed themselves with so much to do and I couldn't have asked for a better place for our mini get away everything was perfect definitely will be back !!

Great Stay Great Cabin! Everything was clean we felt comfortable there. The hot tub was great after the 2.4 mile walk at Watkins glen. It was too cold for us to kayak but it was nice sitting by the water and chilling. Loved the sound of the water at night.

Absolutely loved our stay at Alex’s place! The home was beautiful, spotless, and had a stunning view of the lake. It was super quiet and private—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The Airbnb was well-stocked with thoughtful touches that made everything feel easy and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Catherine’s place for me is the best. My husband and I love to go back again. Highly recommended.
